I’ve never heard of or seen any official signatures on state documents using shorthand, stenography or Chinese characters. If any documents can be found from HI using anything like that then maybe your theory might be useful.

Yes, that thread had a different BC signed by Br' Lee whoever he is. it was prepared at the medical facility that served a military hospital.

We need a statistically valid sample of HI BCs for the period 1959 to 1963. A few thousand or so and we might be able to determine what was "normal" there (if anything was normal).

Or even a list of registrars’ names. I’ll check the link again in a bit.

"SpongeBob" with his square pants would have been HIGH TECH as recently as 1995! (when it comes to OCR technology).

USPS had a process called Remote Video Encoding where the letters rejected for "read" were run under a TV camera and the image transmitted to personnel elsewhere who would read the letter's address and provide the right coding to send it on its way.

As I was retiring this was being phased out totally since OCR systems, plus normal mail address hygiene had improved such that the few pieces that couldn't be read could be dealt with manually by one guy 10 minutes a day (or some such). The engineers are all rather dismissive of the need to keep RVE even on pretense.

I think you are hung up on the term "state documents". I've seen MILLIONS of state documents (postal mailing statements used by major mailers) where authorizations of funds was made by a set of initials.

Of course, that was a customer authorizing USPS to use some of the money deposited early as payment for postage.

Clerks accepting the documents regularly used initials or nicknames.

Now, a formal proclamation by a Governor ~ maybe that requires something else ~ people working in the trenches filling out what amount to "source documents" don't need to do what you want unless necessary. I suspect this particular "Lee" was well known at the time and everything will make sense once someone is apply to pin an ID on the individual.

This particular registrar may have had a permanent duty station but moved around to fill in for other's on relief.

Isn't August VACATION TIME?

Of course he does. He admitted he voted for Hillary, probably voted for Obama when Hillary lost the nomination and says Rush made him do it. Buckeye was a concern troll that is turning into a blatant troll. I would venture to guess he will have a total meltdown prior to 2012 and get the zot.

Yep, more of the same Legal Weasel Words coming from the HI Dept. of Health. Appearing to say something, but not really saying what it appears they said.

I can give you multiple examples in the past. Unfortunately the press hears what they want, not what the HI Dept. of Health actually said.

Ask yourself, if it was this easy, why did it take them so long to release the document. Answer: There is no original document to release and they simply changed the access to data that the system previously would not allow. Obozo's grandma made an application for late registration, that was received and noted as received, but never acted upon because of lack of proof required. That is why the HI official refused to certify him before the election, until overruled by Pelosi. So what we saw yesterday was the data from the "application" not the original COLB. That is why it was called an "abstract". The good doctor named in the document did not deliver Obozo at the Hospital in HI, he might have "examined" him there. (but I doubt it)

In my opinion he was delivered in Canada just north of Bellview WA. And before SAD made the trip to Bellview to visit her aunt there, grandma Dunham arranged for a Doctor in HI to fill out the paperwork for a late filing, all but his signature and date. Remember, the HI department of health affixes the number not the doctor. So when she decided to keep the baby she simply phoned grandma and had the good doctor finish the paperwork. But somewhere there was a glitch and he has bluffed his way since then. What a mess.

J.M.:”I believe we need to do some serious in-depth reseach on Lee and Beatrice to find out why Lee signed Obama’s birth certificate, while Beatrice, the Deputy Registrar, signed the Nordyke twins birth certificate.”

I agree that it would be interesting to get examples of other BC’s with signatures of both Lee and Beatrice that originate from Kapiolani. But I had been comparing the two documents as well and noticed that the Nordyke twins had a signature of the ATTENDANT (doctor) on August 11 - three days after Obama’s attendant signed his BC. I guess the Nordyke doctor had to take a few days off after delivering twins. So it does not seem too incredible that the two registrars might be different people.

*******

OBAMA'S MOTHER'S SIGNATURE: The "Stanley" in parenthesis: It looks strange to me. It looks like the person forgot to write "Stanley" and added it later after the person had written the complete name in the space.

What do you make of it?

Do you have any theory why Obama went to all that trouble and expense to get his long form birth certificate copy from Hawaii?

Do you think it is possible that he never had a long form?

Or, do you think that the President of the United States simply lost his? People lose birth certificates all the time.

Born in Kenya, registered in Hawaii. As per grandmother.

Nice one.

So you agree that the BC is a fraud, since Barack Obama would have been 27, not 25 in 1961?

I'm not sure of the exact birth date of Barack Obama Sr., although I have seen that the birth certificate for Jr. and some of the immigration documents for Sr. do not match. But I don't see how this makes Jr's birth certificate fraudulent as a record of his birth.

If Sr's age as recorded on the birth certificate is wrong, there could be various possible explanations, one of which is that he lied about his age to Stanley Ann. He seems to have each of two different dates on several of the immigration documents. Perhaps Sr. was a "slippery character", or perhaps he was one of those people from foreign countries who are not sure of their real birthdate. But this has nothing to do with whether Jr was born in a certain date and place.

There is also the mystery that another poster (forget who) on FR mentioned regarding the signature dates of SAD and the doctor. Seems those are the exact same dates that were on the “forged” Kenyan B.C. that was floating around the web. Very, very coincidental that those dates would be identical since there was supposedly no exposure of this document prior to this week.

The Lucas Smith Kenya "birth certificate" is a clear fraud. Mombasa was not a part of Kenya in 1961. It was part of Zanzibar, and only became a part of newly-independent Kenya in 1963.

In any event, a close examination strongly suggests that the dates on the Lucas Smith fraud are not 8/8/1961 for the attending doctor (which should've come first) and 8/7/1961, but 8/5/1961 and 8/7/1961. Note that the second digit in the attending doctor date is different from the first one, which is constructed with two circles. What digit can it possibly be? It's a 5.

People don't seem to give the certificates that claim Obama was born in Kenya the same level of scrutiny they're giving to the one released by the White House.

Sigh.

They *exist*, but you *have to know how to use them*.

Indications from the document are consistent with someone who DIDN'T.

And that is inconsistent with a genuine birth certificate, as the real typists from the Hawaii Dept. of Red Tape back then would've known how to use them consistently.

Cheers!

Hmm. That muddies the waters a bit.

However, the Lucas Smith certificate looks NOTHING like known authentic certificates from Kenya during that era. This from no less a source than World Net Daily, who’ve done their best to drive the eligibility issue:

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=106135

This is not 100% conclusive (forms could have changed), but at this point I’d say the burden of proof is on anyone claiming authenticity for the Lucas Smith document.
