Expert: No Doubt Obama's Birth Certificate Is Legit

It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.

But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.

The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.

But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.

“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.

Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

Jean-Claude Tremblay was the name of a fairly well-known, now-deceased, former NHL hockey player, a French-Canadian. Could be that the name is being used as an alias in this context and/or that this whole story is nothing more than a hoax.

Thanks, Mesta. Hey do I remember you posting up thread a pic of the layer with the white and the grayscale number 1? I wish you could post that again showing the whole thing, if possible. I think the black left on that layer is what is actually on Obama’s true original document. His true document has a number ending in 1. And whatever else is on that one layer.

B.D.: All records and identification that he had in 1961 showed him as a student alien from Kenya born on June 18, 1934! The birth certificate is a fraud! _________________________________________ Seems to me that Obama Sr. had little to do with SAD and most likely was not involved with supplying data for the Obama Jr. birth record. I expect that all the information on the BC was provided by Stanley or her parents. It is very likely that he had told them his age was 25 or they had so little interaction with him that they didn't know for certain. There certainly is no evidence that Obama Sr. had to be around for the birth since his signature is not present on the document. A document can only be a fraud if the person providing the information knowingly falsifies the information. At least that is my best guess of the events as they transpired. Notice the incosistency in Obama Sr. age claims throughout the years. In some of those examples in the immigration papers, the data was handwritten which implies that Obama himself entered the data. At some point, he was obviously perjuring himself since he uses both 1934 and 1936 although the reason for such is beyond my understanding. Perhaps this has something to do with the time travel that was hinted at on the other FREEP link that had been posted by patlin

The computer does not know if you have any INTENT to edit, and that does not make any difference to this argument you COULD edit it if you wanted to, once the OCR is done.

OCR tries to make text and words from a picture. Is that simple enough for you? dumbass? IT TAKES A PICTURE AND TRIES TO GENERATE THE WORDS AS TEXT that is all I ever said.

I have written imaging software for a living, so excuse me if my “ramblings” sound too authoritive and hysterical for you.

I know what computers and digital scanning software can do- it cannot do this THE WAY THEY WANT YOU TO THINK it has been done.

Instead of attacking other freepers if you dont like this issue FIND ONE YOU DO LIKE and go after Obama would you please?

There is no inconsistency at all. He used the date of June 18, 1934 from the time that he entered the U.S. until he left Hawaii. Everything after Hawaii in mid 1962 shows 1936.

I agree that it would be interesting to get examples of other BC’s with signatures of both Lee and Beatrice that originate from Kapiolani. But I had been comparing the two documents as well and noticed that the Nordyke twins had a signature of the ATTENDANT (doctor) on August 11 - three days after Obama’s attendant signed his BC. I guess the Nordyke doctor had to take a few days off after delivering twins. So it does not seem too incredible that the two registrars might be different people.

One thing I read on one of these threads is that in insurance contracts, when they use abstracts, they write a number reference in the place of the abstracted part. Wonder if those faded numbers are this type of system? Also, at the bottom where the date stamp is, which is not shown in this image you just posted, some of the numbers remain in black. The numbers that remain are different on either side. I think these are clues as well.
