But it was nothing more than what your average bride might wear.

Where have you seen a bride lately that has looked this way? The halter top gowns of today are horrible and from what I have seen these days.

Yikes...I was thinking Prince William not Charles. Disregard my question...too early for me, I guess.

Actually, the latest polls have shown republican feeling is at about a 20 year low in Australia. Possibly connected to the Royal Wedding.

I will pass on your thoughts to the Prince when I get a chance.

A good man and a loyal man. Many will look up to him as he continues to grow and mature.

Well dag, I’ve seen plenty of brides wearing that sort of dress, sorry I so offended you over such a silly thing.

It was pretty, I said that. And yeah, some of those halter type bridal dresses are really awful.

But I’ve seen plenty of brides in the sort of simple, but quite pretty, dress that Kate wore.

Kate is on very pretty woman. Her dress was pretty but on her the whole combination becomes sweet and beautiful.

What in the world did she do to stretch out that white t shirt like that? Seriously, I look better going to work at school than she does and I don’t have nearly the amount of money to spend on my clothes!

I have always felt kind of sorry for Prince Charles. There is a certain sadness I’ve always seen in his eyes.

Yep !!

Years ago, I memorized the entire backwards version of Cinderella, and would be spurred on to recite it .. usually in a cocktail setting .. ;). It was a fun calling card.

It’s hilarious .. my son still reminds me of my performances, and we have to recite some of the phrases.

Rindercella, her three sisty uglers and her mean mepstother .. the pransome hince .. slopped her dripper .. LOLOL ..

The story of Kate is sort of an Cinderella story American might appreciate.

She is a Coal Miner’s daughter as Loretta Lynn would say :)

Kate, the coal miner’s girl

Yes, at one point, the idea of making the Prince of Wales Governor-General of Australia was considered.

The idea of giving William some sort of Vice-Regal post has been considered more recently, but most of the major Commonwealth Realms are now comfortable with the idea that the Governor-General should be one of our own. Australia’s last ‘British’ Governor-General left office in 1965, New Zealand’s in 1967, and Canada’s in 1952 (I think).

What are your thoughts on the British monarchy?

And, what do you think of the candidate for knighthood for Kenny Dalglish?

Cheers.
