EXCERPTS
5 Things You Don’t Know About Chelsy Davy
1. She was born in Zimbabwe.
2. She’s scholarly and career-driven. Davy earned her undergraduate degree in economics at the University of Cape Town, then went on to earn her law degree at the University of Leeds.
3. She wanted to be a model.
4. She has faced danger head-on. In 2006, Davy was held at gunpoint along with other restaurant goers while dining at a Cape Town wine bar.
5. She still parties with the royal family.
I am sitting here salivating!
She carried the bouquet well. Most brides bunch up their arms, carrying their bouquets too high ... just under their chest which bulks up the waistline. It’s one of my wedding pet peeves.
Let’s see - I think that would make me Lady Mildred Cookie-Hazeltine. Doesn’t really have quite the royal ring to it. Maybe Lady Mary Cookie-Center? Nope, that doesn’t do it either. Guess I will just stay a commoner!
Camilla looks like she’s wearing a housecoat lol. The others all look so lovely.
She looked like a big mess today, if you find pictures of her.
That's because she is his first cousin. They are the daughters of Diana's brother.
I saw that pic on “people of walmart” I think....... no,... I’m sure I did !
Chelsea appears to be a Gremlin imo.
That's one of my pet peeves also!!
I disagree....she was the bride and of all the ta-do’s she above all should have shown brightest. I didn’t refer to an “over the top display” in the first place. I refered to Kate’s dress, hair, and how low heyed she was in her appearnace.
Furthermore the wedding wasn’t hardly what any would call low-key..so you missed the point.
Reportedly, he said, "Right she is here now."
Your post simply indicates how little you know of attire for a bride. I’ve seen “Poor” brides with more elegant hair than Kate wore....and I wasn’t refereing to if or not the two were happy or not. After 5 years of shacking up you’d assume they’d found some degree of contentment with one another.
Further any comparisons between Diana and Kates wedding is fruitless...Diana was 19 yrs. old....Kate’s almost 30.....Big difference in every way. Besides Kate has been practicing for 5 yrs to take her role...Diana had none but was under the tutor and control of the “mums” still.
Again my reference was to Kates frompy veil and hair....could have been far better and certainly more regal than it was....and it should have been. Flat against the skull as her’s was was not appropriate. Even a slight veil lift would have been helpful.
Good move on Prince Willimas part...nice touch and certainly related well to the crowd. I think he’s inherited some of his moms flair in relating to the people. She taught him well it would appear...in that respect. Also I am certain the “others” learned from all the hardship caused prior for Diana. Kates been quietly living a royal life incognito for five years....she’s been well groomed now for her role.
File your complaint with the royal family. Your argument isn’t persuading anyone here.
