Pres. Obama releases his birth certificate... the question now is why did he spend millions of dollars trying not to release it?

instead of coming on the air and addressing that 8 or 9 American’s where killed by one of our coilition partners and the sorrow we feel, its all about him and his birth certificate, and then flying off to be on the Oprah show. i don’t think he was born in Hawai, i think he was hatched!!
I came to this discussion late, and only recently concluded that the only real issue (concerning the “birth certificate” matter) was whether Obama met the constitutional provisions of being a natural born citizen.
That is still my position, and I suspect there are others like me. It is an issue that is not clear-cut and needs to be resolved ultimately by the SC for the sake of all future presidential elections.
Is there any real records showing he was born in the hospital listed in the COLB? Just asking.
How is allowing an Army Doctor be prosecuted and sent to prison “good for the country”?
That being said, hopefully this latest revelation (bogus or not) takes the Trump candidacy off the table. I applaud Trump's courage for asking the questions, but I still don't completely trust him. I have this fear that he'll pull a Ross Perot on the country and we'll have another dismal term with the magic muslim.
The GOP needs to get serious, especially the RINO leadership, stop attacking the Tea Party and start attacking Husein's record. Lord knows there's plenty to criticize.

Releasing the same old COLB and calling it the Long Form BC showed us the disingenuity of Obama and his WH staff.
Well we know it all along, but this bunch SURE fooled lots and lots of people (including a lot on our side).
Alright here’s the deal.
Levin has a good point on ths issue. Suppose the pres is proven illegitimate. How is he going to be removed? The method for removal of a president is not a court, it is an impeachment. This congress and this senate is not going to impeach him, ever, for any reason.
It up to us to impeach him by voting his ass out. It was up to us to keep him out of the white house in the first place, but we failed. Obama must be made a one term president, or America is finished.
We are the guardians of our freedom, so let’s get to guarding. We may well be at our last opportunity to do so, so let’s roll.

Here's a long form birth certificate from Hawaii, from the 60's. Yes, they call it "certificate of live birth". BUT... it has an embossed seal and the signatures of the director of health and the registrar general at the time. All three are missing in the form released by the WH.

I think this becomes evidence for further lawsuits regarding the natural born citizen issue. That’s why he didn’t want to release it.
You’re right. This is damage control. Trump has the resources and he’s using them. Jerome Corsi’s book is coming out with possibly more damning evidence, and the American people are not letting the subject drop. Obama has no choice but to respond publicly. If he doesn’t, it looks even more suspicious.
