Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson announced today that he's running for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

"I'm ready for a different America," Johnson said in a statement today. "I'm ready for the day when a person can build a good life on a decent income, and we can take our government at its word."

Johnson announced his candidacy Thursday morning on the steps of the New Hampshire State House and plans to spend three days in the early-nominating state meeting with supporters and visiting local businesses.

Well, that’s fine, the argument that it’s got to be overturned is the bottom line, but it’s going to take 5 to do it, and only with a Republican President to get to 5. IMHO there are better options than this Gary dude to put on that seat to ensure that it happens.

The only people who will “cause Obama to be elected” are 1) those who vote for him, and 2) those who prevent an electable pro-life alternative from being nominated by the Republicans.

YOU accused ME of making things up. What did I make up?

That I am an imbecile incapable of reason and that I accused you of being pro-abortion.

That and any number of other things you said to others.

btw, I would suggest counseling for your anger issues. You're in bad shape.

(btw, your spelling isn't very good either. Is it better when you're calm or is it always this bad?)

Leo was put out of his misery a little while ago. He should have seen the zot coming. Everyone else did.

Do you see the difference?

A distinction without a difference.

Thanks. I just saw that.

You're right. He should have seen it coming, but I think he was coming unhinged and couldn't think straight.

Some things that happen around here are just bizarre. What he was doing here was bizarre.

So, ask me again why I'm registered "Non-partisan" in CA.
I did a little research recently. Nine states have more unaffiliated voters than registered RATs or OP(aka GOP). Three more saw a greater increase of unaffiliated voters than RATs or OP from 2008-2010. Where I live unaffiliated voters out number OP voters by more than a 2:1 margin and RAT voters by nearly 100,000.

ROFLOL! Old Leo was calling everyone names and losing control and you think HE was "Alinsky-ed??" (Ask JR what he thinks of that accusation).

It's the other way around Tainan. The other way around. HE was doing the Alinksy-type stuff. And you're right. It was sad.

(btw, the post you were responding to was his bizarro post to me, so by implication you are accusing me of behaving as a leftist. Not gonna work).

The Constitution of the United States imperatively demands the equal protection of all innocent persons.

Every officer of government, at every level, and in every branch, swears to God and to his fellow men to support and defend that.

It’s not optional.

All men are created equal. It’s America’s first and most important cornerstone principle, without which the whole house will fall down.

Thus, if states generally, and the federal government when the states are in breach of their obligations, passed laws forbidding abortions except in cases of rape, incest, life of the mother, I'd take that.

That's exactly how the child-killers got their nose in the door. In the states. Through "exceptions."

And it's all a violation of the imperative, explicit requirements of the Constitution of the United States.

"No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law."

"No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Frankly, it is the exceptions mentality that assures the continuation of abortion on demand in this country, until God's judgment falls on us.

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever."

-- Thomas Jefferson
