Six people were arrested this week and accused of luring a 15-year-old boy to a Florida home, shooting him several times, burning his body in a fire pit and putting the remains into paint cans, authorities said.
The killing occurred Sunday in the central Florida city of Ocala, according to a statement from the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Two females in the group allegedly lured the victim, Seath Jackson, to the home, and the group beat him with a wooden object. He was then shot several times with a .22-caliber gun, authorities said.
As the wounded teen attempted to flee, he was tackled and shot again, according to the sheriff's statement. His body was allegedly placed in a sleeping bag and burned in a fire pit outside the home.
His ashes were placed into several paint containers and thrown into a large garbage can, authorities said.
Authorities said they learned of the alleged plot from a member of the group who confessed to witnessing the killing.
Four adults and two minors were charged in connection with the killing.
Michael Bargo, 18; Charlie Kay Ely, 18; Justin Soto, 20; and two minors face first-degree murder charges, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said.
And James Haven, 37, faces charges of accessory to the crime for allegedly helping to dispose Jackson's remains and driving one of the suspects out of the area to avoid arrest, authorities said.
Sheriff's department documents gave little information about what caused the killing other than brief statements by suspects about a dispute and a growing hatred.
Soto's public defender, Bill Miller, would not comment on the case. Ely is not represented by an attorney, and Bargo will make his first appearance Thursday morning, according to Marion County courts.

I think the family and friends of Seath (victim) should write every prisoner in the Criminal Justice system in FL and tell them about what happened to him. When "something" happens to the perpetrators, start depositing money into their commissary accounts.
Repeat as necessary!
:).....just sayin'.
Listen to the step father!!!!!! OMG!
Michael Bargo has a bit of a history:

Fresh white meat for Bubba.......
Yes, I think that when one punk pulls out a gun, and kills someone, others around him may be so shocked as to comply. How did so few Nazis control so many prisoners? Intimidation. You screw up, I kill you and the person next to you. You may not care so much about them killing you, but the fact they threaten someone else for you actions can be quite compelling.
5’3” 125lbs....did you see Soto and the other kid Hooper, hell even the girl Charlie had about 50 or so lbs. on him. Not buying these poor scared children! They should ALL fry!
"There are parts of Florida that remain very ingrained in the old Florida cracker lifestyle, and it would not surprise me one bit if that was the case here."
appeared / appears to me to imply that you believe that the behavior of the subhuman punkperps in this article was due to their being part of the "Florida Cracker" subculture.
How else would you interpret it?
I am well aware that Blacks sometimes use the term "Cracker" in the same opprobrious, racist manner that some Whites use "the 'N' word". Both usages are racist. But, bigotry can have many other forms -- other than racial.
Were you not saying that the behavior of the criminals in this story typified that of the "Cracker" subculture?
If not, would you like to re-phrase it?

This thread has provided some intriguing "insider view" education on the Florida "Cracker culture". Particularly noteworthy was jwparkerjr's #26...
And, I had just about come to the conclusion that you were a supporter of that culture until I read #24:
"The old country/cracker/hillbilly attitudes persist in many parts of this State, and with the influx of non-native Hispanics, perversion is the soup du jour in the sticks."
Is yours a urban vs rural thing? What gives?
Color me honestly confused as to where you stand...
The Step father who was there while they were planning KNEW THE PLAN WAS TO KILL SEATH!!! This was PLANNED AND HAPPENED AS PLANNED!!
I just reread your reply. I am guessing you did not read the story. Bargo did not just pull out a gun and shoot. They, ALL of them beat the crap out of him first, he survived the first assault and tried to escape.
And there is NO excuse ever for perpetrating any act like this, it would seem to me that a person with an ounce of conscience would not even think to be involved in such a thing in the first place.
You’d have to live in or have grown up in rural parts of Florida to truly gain a depth of knowledge to understand it. Just like there were outlaws in the “cowboy west,” there are reprobates in the “cracker culture” of Florida. The rural area around my hometown was quiet and filled with mostly orange groves.
When I was 6, there was a young girl murdered in one of those orange groves by a young man who used to pick fruit for the farmer who owned the land. He was, for all intents and purposes, a decent kid, but he wasn’t right in the head. The farmer was relatively poor, but he paid his men well enough, and there was no indication as to the reason for the man to murder this young girl except for the thrill. She, too, was poor, there was no sign of sexual assault, it was just a random act of violence. Some of these kids have nothing to do in their day to day, and they took to sniping rabbits or squirrels with .22s or plinking at strays as “harmless fun.”
While the old crackers of Florida were hard working, gruff men, there are plenty of cases of weird behavior or otherwise inexplicable crimes being committed for no reason other than boredom. While this case was clearly some “slight” against a girl, these rural chits have little to do with their daily lives other than wake up, feed the critters on their lots, then retire to the Internet or TV nowadays. When I was young, we’d climb trees all day or ride our bikes to town, but boredom was pretty common. That’s what local swimming holes or sinkhole lakes were good for.
So put aside your understanding of “cracker” as a negative term, because it is a part of our culture and heritage much the way the Confederate flag is part of the culture of much of the South despite being a “symbol of racism” to northern Americans. Likewise, the cracker culture of Florida is replete with examples of depravity despite the overarching positive nature of the work that they did on the cattle farms of old Florida.
His career is over...........
There you go! First, it was the Internet is evil. Then, myspace is evil. Now, FB is evil. In five years it will be something else.
