[SNIP] George Stephanopoulos: Well, I have the presidents certificate right here. Its certified, its got a certification number. Its got the registrar of the state signed. Its got a seal on it. And it says this copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.
Bachmann: Well, then that should settle it.
Stephanopoulos: So its over?
Bachmann: Thats what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldnt, either. Introduce that, were done. Move on.

Whistling in the dark. Scared to death. There’s demons in the closet, and it’s going to come out, sooner or later.

Bachmann did the right thing. Stephanopoulos was looking for a sound bite, an argument so he and the rest of the Marxist loving press could paint her as a loony. She took it away from him and it is absurd to see the liberal media after trashing the intellect of Bachmann (and all other Conservatives) to then assign to her the status of having the “final word”.

I’m wondering what they have on Bachmann. So by virtue of Steph’s “Your CHRISTIAN faith” coverup, he gets a piece of this action.

Most disappointing, but once again proves that full-time politicos are a controlled bunch. Looks like Palin and Trump are the only ones not under control at this time. JMHO

Constitutionally Bachmann is correct. The constitution lays out eligibility but leaves it up to the party doing the nominating to make that determination.

Headline doesn’t match the article. Bachmann is still basically saying “put up or shut up”.

And his Kenyan father makes BO a citizen, but not a “natural born” citizen. The location of his birth is not as important as the intent of the framers in adopting the ancient meaning of that phrase to describe those eligible for the presidency.

Bachmann tragically has become another pod person, it would seem.
Donald Sutherland, pointing her finger out and then slowly at first shrieking that zombie thing....

Oh boy, Bachmann just sealed her doom with the birthers. Until now she was an all-star.

The word "party" as in "political party" does not appear in the US constitution.
The constitution does not delineate the process for a determination of eligibility, but it assigns Congress the function of counting electoral votes, and the consequences if the "winner" of the electoral process is not qualified.
The US Congress is utterly corrupt and derelict. It is a failed institution.

Georgy pulled a fast one on her. Briefly waving something in front of here and then getting her to comment on it. I think it was that fake COLB that has been floating around for a long time. Here's a partial transcript of that part of the interview which was originally about the budget.
Stephanopoulos: Well I have the presidents certificate right here. Its certified, its got a certification number. Its got the registrar of the state signed. Its got a seal on it. And it says 'this copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.'
Bachmann: Well, then that should settle it.

Bachmann: Thats what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldnt either. Introduce that, were done. Move on.
Stephanopoulos: Well this has been introduced. So this story is over?
Bachmann: Well as long as someone introduces it I guess its over.
Stephanopoulos: Its right there.
Bachmann: Yeah, there you go. Because that is not the main issue facing the United States right now.

And it says this copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding. The fact that Obama is moving about is prima facie evidence that he was born. What we want to know are the circumstances. And if you want something "prima facie," how about the fact that he's clearly trying to hide something about those circumstances?

Headline doesnt match the article. Bachmann is still basically saying put up or shut up. To make my point, read what she actually said (emphasis added), and not the headline's spin:
Bachmann: Well, then that should settle it. Stephanopoulos: So its over?
Bachmann: Thats what should settle it. I take the president at his word and I think again I would have no problem and apparently the president wouldnt, either. Introduce that, were done. Move on.

The question is not “citizen”.
The question is natural born citizen.
Understanding you know that, but it needs to be repeated.
