Dismissing concerns over possible links between Libyan rebels and al Qaeda, the Obama administration has notified Congress it is providing $25 million in nonlethal aid to the rebels’ effort to drive Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s regime from power.
“The president’s proposed actions would provide urgently needed nonlethal assistance to support efforts to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas under threat of attack in Libya,” said Joseph E. Macmanus, acting assistant secretary of state for legislative affairs, in an April 15 letter. A copy of the letter, sent to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was obtained by The Washington Times.

Here’s an idea for obama - you can raise the 25 mil by selling arms to Iran. Whatever is left over maybe you can free some terrorists somewhere. It’s like I am in an alternate reality under an anti-Reagan.
Can you imagine Obama’s response if this was 1941 and the Japanese just bombed Pearl Harbor.

When things like this go on, the entitlement crowd can rightly say “Hey, you’re blowing 25 mil over this so don’t tell me I can’t have mine”.
Regardless of whether they deserve taxpayer money or not, at least they’re Americans. This, like giving money to the Pali’s, is just madness.

As the re-election campaign managers study today’s surge in oil price to $111/barrel, and draw conclusions from it, you can rest assured that alleged civilian deaths in Libya will suddenly reach a point beyond Obama’s tolerance and direct military intervention will be ordered.

The dems choose a playing field and they try to play by their rules, this ship is sinkin fast and we need folks who throw out the old game, stop thinking the American people can bail us out of this crap they are shoving down our throats and make the federal gangsta pay, cut it to nothing, remove all its rights to raise or borrow money and run the country from the states, make it so states must balance their budgets and can not loan other states money, eliminate all income and corporate taxes and have a fair tax on goods bought. Then we start playing on our field again, not the minefield they have rigged already to play on..We need our freedom back now...
