This site is 12,000 years old, the most advanced strutures ever found.
Several video's on the link
Prior to the Great Melt (lasting from 16000 - 8000 BC), sea levels were 400-700 feet lower.
the water level rose on the coasts a lot. 50 feet? 100 feet? 150 feet?

400-700 feet
What ever these structures were, the one thing they were not is the place where the builders lived.
The Jomon in Japan had an advanced sea-going civilization 14000 years ago...
My theory is, we have forgotton more of our own history than we realize. Part of the problem today is that too many in the sciences have vested interests in linear human history, with the central unshakeable premise that we are the most advanced civilization ever.
If you desire to have your mind totally melt then google the following:

I’d really like to see more maps of what the coastline looked like during the ice age, during different parts of the ice age, etc.
I’ve heard that there are underwater structures 2,200 feet below sea level, I believe off the coast of Cuba. That is hard to explain by the end of the ice age. Most of the ancient underwater structures seem to be sitting where it would have been dry during the ice age.

Apparently, detailed maps of the coast lines during that period are not in demand. The only book going in depth into this issue is Hancock’s Underworld. He had to call in favors from some university professor to get maps specially made for the Indian coastline
