by Mira Oberman Mira Oberman – Fri Apr 15, 12:57 am ET CHICAGO (AFP) – US President Barack Obama accused Republicans of wanting to turn the United States into a "Third World" country as he rallied support for his reelection campaign.

The attack came a day after Obama savaged Republican budget plans and unveiled his $4-trillion deficit reduction drive that aims to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans in order to preserve key social services.

Typical poaranoid statement! Projected one’s own faults on others! No one has done a better (or swifter)job of making America a third world nation more than George bush did, than Barack Hussein Obama.

“....supposed to read, “left-wing projection alert.”

I knew what you meant. I think most everybody would know other than those that don’t know what projection is, and believe it or not many don’t. I wish they’d ask instead of nodding their heads as though they did LOL.

The “Leftist-wing....” your Iphone put into your commentary isn’t a problem really. It’s an understood. Same thing happens when I try a search. I enter what I want, but the ‘puter knows so much better what it is I want, and I have to override it every time. Like so much in our lives the Leftists design these programs. They like telling us all what to think.

Why link to Drudge rather than the original source?

Because I'm never sure which websites raise a stink about copyright issues and other crap like that.

Anybody going to Drudge has to look around for the link you are posting and that link will be gone in a day.

O, the humanity.

And since Drudge (and you) changed the original headline,

I didn't change nuthin'. I just copy-and-pasted. Drudge is the guilty party. Off with his head!

your search probably failed to notice the previous postings.

Based on the number of replies, it's apparent not everybody was aware of the previous posting.

Now, I'm going to pop a nice cold bottle of Sierra Nevada Glissade Golden Bock and enjoy this beautiful Northern California day.

If that's okay with you.

Yes. Computers are idiots! They are no more intelligent than a fleet of front-endloaders. Despite the claims of Artificial Intelligence advocates, computers will remain stupid till kingdom come.

In fact, the claim that computers can "think" is another type of projection. Although computers seem to do massive amounts of mental calculation the way front-endloaders move massive amounts of earth, on second thought, computers don't even calculate. Strictly speaking, computers don't "do" anything at all. They are inert pieces of silicon, metal and plastic until electricity flows through them and we manipulate them for our own purposes.

We humans seem to have an inbred instinct to anthropomorphize everything, from the forces of nature to the inert objects we produce by our own labors.
