“....supposed to read, “left-wing projection alert.”

I knew what you meant. I think most everybody would know other than those that don’t know what projection is, and believe it or not many don’t. I wish they’d ask instead of nodding their heads as though they did LOL.

The “Leftist-wing....” your Iphone put into your commentary isn’t a problem really. It’s an understood. Same thing happens when I try a search. I enter what I want, but the ‘puter knows so much better what it is I want, and I have to override it every time. Like so much in our lives the Leftists design these programs. They like telling us all what to think.

Yes. Computers are idiots! They are no more intelligent than a fleet of front-endloaders. Despite the claims of Artificial Intelligence advocates, computers will remain stupid till kingdom come.

In fact, the claim that computers can "think" is another type of projection. Although computers seem to do massive amounts of mental calculation the way front-endloaders move massive amounts of earth, on second thought, computers don't even calculate. Strictly speaking, computers don't "do" anything at all. They are inert pieces of silicon, metal and plastic until electricity flows through them and we manipulate them for our own purposes.

We humans seem to have an inbred instinct to anthropomorphize everything, from the forces of nature to the inert objects we produce by our own labors.
