He has to point this out, because the context is that he’s been accused of racism for asking community-organizer-in-chief to do the same thing Eisenhower had to do.

Perot was crucified when he referred to a group of blacks as “you people”.
How will they attack Trump, who they already know is a racist because he has the nerve to question the First Half Black President?
Apparently Donald Trump has not learned that in the African-American community, color trumps (pun intended) all. in the 2012 election, Obama will again get 95% of the black vote.
“I have a great relationship with the blacks,” Donald Trump said on an Albany, N.Y. radio station Thursday morning. “I’ve always had a very great relationship with the blacks. But unfortunately, it seems the numbers that you cite are very, very frightening numbers.”
The numbers Trump is referring to are part of a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday. It shows 95 percent of black voters in New York State approve of how Barack Obama is handling his job as president. Only 4 percent do not. In sharp contrast, of white voters polled, 42 percent approve of the job the president is doing, while 53 percent do not.

Well. These poll numbers aren’t too surprising.

Could it be I’m wrong about Trump? Is it possible he really is a patriot and a conservative because he means what he says and knows what he’s talking about?
But for that to be true, it would have to be true that he was right when he said Hillary should be 2009 Commander in Chief, and when he gave his support to John Kerry for president in 2004.
Trump may get as much as 7% of the Black vote.

How bout the Combover vote? He is a real trip. But he is making the GOP look like the fools they are.
Most blacks, like everybody else, want to get ahead and want to do well (legally, in some business other than drug dealing - or sports) and want to get rich. Trump was born into a wealthy real estate family, but they weren’t always rich and as annoying as he can be sometimes, he definitely has the energy that it takes to spur people into getting serious about improving their lives on their own.
