There's an old saw that every time a senator looks in the mirror, he sees a president. Could the same be true of MSNBC hosts?
Twice tonight on his TV show, Cenk Uygur fantasized himself as president. The muy macho MSNBCer naturally imagined he'd be much tougher with Republicans than President Obama.

I think MSNBC “management” made the decision a couple years ago NOT to pretend to be other than the left’s fav cable channel. They had NO audience until they established themselves off to the left. Now at least they have *some* audience. Most of their natural audience, tho, is split between MSNBC and The Comedy Channel with Jon Whatzisname and Colbert.
Way back, MSNBC was pretty decent, until they partnered with Newsweek and WaPo and it was all downhill from there. Then along came Fox and it was all over until they decided to focus on attracting a left wing audience. Maybe the MSNBC losses are what saved GE’s having to pay taxes?
When I was a kid, me and my brothers would have kicked this guy azz because he needed it. Alas and forsooth, the world has moved on.
Rachel Madsow ...isn’t she the one with the crooked mouth? I think I saw her one time, and was fascinated at how half of her face was talking and the other half was going somewhere else.
