An Internet poll sponsored by Newsmax.com reveals that Americans overwhelmingly favor Donald Trump as their preferred candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.
Online participants in the poll, which has drawn more than 550,000 responses, also support Trump by a wide margin in a head-to-head matchup with President Barack Obama.
If the election were held today, Trump would beat Obama in a landslide, 68 to 13 percent. But that lead is just as sizeable when Trump faces off against the best and the brightest in the oft-mentioned field of GOP contenders for 2012.
Trump takes 57 percent of the vote in a field including Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty. His closest competitor, according to the poll, is former Massachusetts Gov. Romney with 9 percent of the vote.

I hope other politicians across the board take note.
People are tired of the PC dictated wimpiness that has come to characterize controversial subjects in this country. We are sick of it, sick of the BS that these immoral and communistic morons get away with, and we want someone who will FIGHT it. And I think a lot of people are sick of it, but don’t even realize HOW sick of it they really are.
If Trump were to play his cards right, he might just be the ONE to wake up the great sleeping GIANT, the silent majority.

We’ve got ourselves a one party system, just like the Commies, who (learn your history) had nominal opposition parties in their domains, as negotiated with our genius politicians like the crippled schmuck FDR. People of this country like a practical man with common sense, who has the bollocks to stand behind his ideas. The Donald fits the bill. On the other side you have the ideologists, the Klintoons, the Obambis, the thoughtless rich like the Pelosis, who then do you choose?

Trump has a proven nose for sniffing out opportunity. He’s the only one who saw that Obamas hidden, secret past for the opportunity it is and he wants to be the one who slays the elephant in the room. If you get your opponent to fall on his own sword, you win.
I believe The Donald’s motives are sincere - which is a lot more you can say for most of the rats and too many of the Republicans. He may not be perfect but he loves this country, is used to staying what he thinks, and has nothing to lose, who knows more about real dealmaking?
If he actually runs he’ll be the politicans worst nightmare - on both sides of the aisle.
If Trump declares candidacy he has legal standing on lawsuits on the BC issue. Problem is BO is protected with executive privilege because he is POTUS and the suits maybe resolved after he leaves office or loses the election. Plenty of legal delays and appeal to the SCOTUS and not much time to do it in. Ironically if BO get re elected the issue maybe grounds to impeach him if the docs prove to be false. Trump has the money and name to hammer this issue up to the SCOTUS.
This poll is complete BS, but there is something about a free-swinger that is attractive to many people. We’re so used to seeing coached-up phonies spewing focus-group tested soundbytes that anyone with some p!ss and vinegar really gets our attention.

This is what happens when you latch onto a winning issue. And there is no competition. Trump is the only one talking about the BC. I love that he is bringing the Tony Rezko thing up also.
This man is a horse’s ass and political poison. Don’t be fooled.
