Exactly, that's where I've been coming from. And if by chance while looking for documents to prove what Obama's basically already admitted about his parents, if we find that he was born outside the US it would be a bonus for whoever is investigating.

He provided a birth certificate which is similar probably to what you have. Name,date and time of birth. And even that is questionable.

The long version lists the parents names, and their place of birth and other info.

That's the one Donald Trump and the others are wanting to see.

And that's the one Obama refuses to show.

It's not a stupid question and from the outset I think this is one reason a lot of people on our side of the aisle also didn't want to "go there."

Look, I want him out. We need to follow the BC issue. But don't kid yourselves: this would be simply the most chaotic and in some ways destructive event since the Civil War. Like the Civil War, it may need to happen. But it absolutely will not be "fun," or painless, or clean in any way. Years' worth of legislation would have to be re-validated. Appointees would be illegitimate. Dems would fight EVERY SINGLE ONE of these like they are fighting in Wisconsin. Government shutdowns, including military, would be a way of life until the public came down on one side or the other.

People on our side who just think the public "would be outraged" would have another think coming. The Dems would desperately try to post-hoc legitimate it. Schwarzennegger would pop up, seeing his opportunity to run for pres, defending new efforts to let immigrants be pres. The can of worms this will open will be beyond imagination. Again, it needs to be done, but our side better be prepared because this genie will not go back in the bottle easily.

Apparent authority only works with respect to those who do not know of the unauthorized authority. At least half of the American public believe Obama is a fraud and operating without authority so the principle is not applicable. Furthermore, apparent authority is a civil law principle and it does not apply to criminal activity such as criminal fraud. If this were so all con artists could go out and bind others with their scams. Think of the chaos that would cause?

I think a lot of us always felt that there would be some recourse, albeit in the future.
