WRONG again...it wasn't a cat, it was someones (human) property. Would your asinine comment be the same had the coyote snatched a baby from its basket?????
You are equating cats to humane babies ... please. It might have been someone’s (human) pet, but it was just that ... a pet. An animal susceptible to all the intrigues of animal instinct.
The cat is someone else’s property. They would be responsible for the care and protection of the cat. And a cat is not a human being. I would have let the coyote alone.
Free roaming cats are also pests or varmints.
The cat should have been a munchie for the coyote. Stupid humans should not let their pets out to run free.
Cats running loose because of irresponsible owners are just as big a nuisance as a wild coyote.
How do you know it wasn't a stray/feral cat? If it was someone's property, why were they letting it run free? In that regard, being eaten by a coyote is no different than being run over by a car, or chopped up by an aspiring serial killer. If cat owners care about their pets, they need to care about their pets.
I'm no fan of coyotes, but nature will play out as it does when afforded the opportunity.
The asinine part is you equating a cat to a human baby. The coyote didn’t think it was someones property, he thought it was dinner. He was almost right.
Coyotes doing what coyotes do!
