Donald Trump going after Obama on the Today Show strikes me as a big deal. A lot of the attention from the various Trump interviews has been directed at his unsubstantiated comments about Obama’s birth certificate. However, I think there is another angle here worth considering. Put those comments aside and listen to what is a very clear, direct critique of President Obama’s tenure.
I hate what’s happening to the country…What we’re doing is unbelievable. If you look at what’s going on, where our jobs are disappearing to foreign countries…You’re going paying 7 or 8 dollars a gallon for your oil soon.I blame a lot (on Obama). It’s been a terrible presidency…

If there is a shutdown, I think it would be a tremendously negative mark on the president of the United States. He’s the one who has to get people together. I’m a deal man. There is something notable about this. Here is a high profile public figure with a hit television show. He doesn’t have a reputation for being a partisan political operative, and he comes on the Today Show (of all places!) to denounce the president in clear and unequivocal terms. That is something we have not seen yet during Obama’s term.

Whether you like Donald Trump or not he is in a unique position in that he is not intimidated by any of the MSM, the MSM is intimidated by him.

I can’t disagree with anything he said about Obama. We are all pleased with a person who is being very hard hitting and frank about the damage Obama is doing.

SOMEONE has to articulate what the MSM will not.
Donald Trump is one (of the soon to be many) who has stepped into the void left by a completely biased and discredited MSM. In their race to support the MOST LIBERAL views and individuals, MOST OF THE TIME, the MSM has forfeited the basic trust and confidence of news viewers.
Right NOW, Trump is articulating the failures and flaws of the current Presidential Administration.
Later, others will step forward to express more and different opinions on topics which the MSM has ALSO either mishandled just as badly as coverage of this Administration, or has neglected altogether.
It’s going to get interesting.
The MSM will be reduced to hawking toothpaste and airing reality shows, etc.

Nobody else in this country at this time has the combination of wealth, ego, high-profile and respect to handle it this way and not be ignored by the media.
Without saying a thing in the Donald's defense, we can still revel in his pure, unadulterated balls, for pushing the state-run-media on their utter failure to address this issue.
Maybe that's part of his plan - if he stands a snowball's chance in winning in 2012, he will have to knock down the media's death grip on the daily sound bites. Show the sheeple just how far down the rabbit hole they've been led.
Either way, it's a win-win for our side!
