Jack Cashill, the right-wing journalist currently winning the national game of "'prove' the most outlandish thing you possibly can about Barack Obama" with his both his theory that Bill Ayers ghost-wrote "Dream From My Father" and his claim that the president's father was actually Jimi Hendrix, dropped a bombshell today: Barack Obama is not actually in a photo of Barack Obama and his grandparents.

Am I wrong, but didn’t someone break that photo down (on FR), removing Obama, to attempt to prove a photoshop?
I could swear someone on here actually did this, to mesh the grandparents together.
Did the author just merely find the altered photoshop which removed Obama?

Salon just noticed? People have been talking about how that photo was obviously doctored ever since Obama started running for POTUS.
And it’s not the only doctored photo, either.

There are some problems with the theory. The largest being: How can you use a non-original, photshopped photo to prove that another photo is a photoshopped photo? There are many other issues to focus on in regards to Obama - it is fruitless to spin wheels on something that cannot be conclusively documented.
The knee left in thing is odd. Granny does seem to be snuggled up next to Gramps with this black thing in between. Like someone said up thread. Nothing means anything without a negative which I am sure is lost to time for any number of reasons.

Has there been one picture of Obama’s colllege past that hasn’t been called photo shopped? And please explain the obvious shadow of gramps hand on Obama’s shoulder to me will ya?
