In a political bombshell, the clerk in a Republican stronghold is set to release new vote totals giving 7,500 votes in the state Supreme Court race back toward Justice David Prosser, swinging the race significantly in his favor.
The Waukesha County clerk's office has told state elections officials that they will be adjusting the vote totals to give incumbent David Prosser more than 7,000 new votes, said Mike Haas, staff attorney for the state Government Accountability Board.
"Waukesha will be adjusting their vote totals by 14,000," Haas said the Accountability Board was told.
The numbers will add some 11,000 votes for Prosser and some 3,000 for Kloppenburg, he said.

This is GREAT news!!! Joy is back in my heart!!!
They should have just blown it on cocaine and hookers.
It is still an error and the error is not acceptable. If you want to eliminate unofficial election returns, I am completely on board with that. However, if you are going to do them, you do it right. Forgetting to include an entire city in a reported result, unofficial or not, is just not acceptable.
Bull, if these numbers were put there yesterday, dems would have come up with another 8000 votes.
GOD had his hand on this all along!
1850 clerks report the votes in WI to the AP. That is not the official vote.
No, it's because their dirty tricks are being used on them.....
Is the GOP now smart enough to hold enough votes back until after the cheaters are done cheating?
This is big news if this is the official vote canvass for Waukesha, which it appears to be.
You can’t fire GOD, Thank You GOD!
If it takes a week or more to get it right, so be it. Make sure it’s right before announcing the results.
Someone please send a “Together We Thrive” t-shirt to Kloppenburg. Or maybe one that says “Solidarity!”. LOL.
Interestingly per the numbers from other counties, it appears Prosser actually gained enough votes to overtake that lead without this Waukesha issue.
One thing about it - Kloppenburg’s victory speech was not appropriate with a vote margin based on unofficial media totals that were still being updated, and a margin that could easily be overtaken by just a few votes per county change in the final and official tally. Notice that Prosser is not declaring victory even though now he will be up by several thousand votes.
If this holds, Obama and his Democrat Party of America destroyers are toast come 2012.
Doubt they have VFW halls in Madison.
DUmmies enraged! *yawn*
BINGO!!!!
Someone please send a Together We Thrive t-shirt to Kloppenburg. Or maybe one that says Solidarity!. LOL.
Either way I’m sure you agree that it was not appropriate for Kloppenburg to declare victory and make a victory speech based on unofficial media data that showed the race too close to call. The margin was so small that just a couple of votes here and there statewide could change the outcome. It appears based on the article Prosser had already overtaken her by a handful of votes as official totals trickled in - even without this Waukesha issue.
Actually, a lot of the “problems” we think we see with voting is simply the result of needing to know things “right away”, meaning we rush preliminary information out to get ahead of the curve, and then we go back and check all the numbers.
In this case, someone maintaining vote counts on an old personal computer simply forgot to include one city’s totals.
In another error, it looked like someone misread a “9” as a “7” on a handwritten sheet.
This is why “official” results are given much later — after they go through the painstaking process of double-checking everything.
LOL. I like the way you think. Nicely played!
