[history]
This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

Waiting anxiously for news from your state here in CT. Polls closing soon I hope! Meanwhile, not a word or a picture on the news thus far tonight, I was hoping to see something on turnout. Just thought I’d share that we’re as anxious as you are! Please share all you hear...
To: Jean S
Thanks for this thread, I was just wondering if there were any exit polls.

If Prosser wins, Reid and Obama will cave on the budget this week. If Prosser loses, God help us.

Ive got a dollar bet on the outcome...I hope I lose.Same. It's not that I think Kloppenburg is really more popular, it's just that I suspect the union folks and college mushheads are more fired up to show up and vote.
We shall see, but I have a feeling we won't like the outcome of this election.

Pray to Almighty God for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

Voters line up to get ballots before voting Tuesday at Madison Elementary School in Wauwatosa.
Contentious ballot includes state Supreme Court, Milwaukee County executive
The contests for state Supreme Court justice and Milwaukee County executive are officially nonpartisan contests, but both could be heavily influenced by strong feelings about Gov. Scott Walker.

I hope to God they don’t vote more than once and are offered things to vote a certain way. A good friend is a retired school teacher and she says they (SEIU) are whining over having to pay health insurance like the rest of us- 80-20 and not 100% tax payer funded. They are fighting over collective bargaining in which bottom line allows bad teachers to continue to teach.
