Not exactly a surprise, but here are the numbers. Taxpayers are subsidizing other people's cheap labor. Here is a link to the CIS report. http://cis.org/immigrant-welfare-use-2011

All it takes is one little anchor baby and you’re in the system.

Yep, we are paying for cheap labor is more ways than you can imagine.

First, wages are depressed by illegal immigrants.
Second, they are working under the table for cash and not paying payroll taxes.
Third, they are drawing welfare and food stamps.
Fourth, we are educating their children.
Fifth, we are paying for their health care.
Sixth, we are paying to imprison hundreds of thousands of them.
Seventh, approximately 25 citizens are killed or murdered by illegal aliens EVERY DAY.

And it goes on and on.

Seems like some one way tickets back and border security would be cheaper. A lot cheaper.

most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.

Between most anchor baby families and nearly all of our seniors, there aren't many of us left who aren't on welfare now.

Latino’s theory in life, never turn down something given for free.

It almost seems to be a game with Latino’s, they seem to get in competitive discussions with family and friends on how much free stuff and how much money they saved.

When I was growing up, we didn’t have a high opinion of people that did this, but in their culture there is a tendency to look down on those that don’t partake.

Funny, and both major parties tell us these worthless parasites would save us with all the taxes they “pay.”

I think we all knew that Illegals were getting welfare....the real facts are now being revealed

More reason to never vote for any politician that is not for 100% Illegal Alien deportation. Anything less than 100% deportation is Amnesty....and promoting welfare

Good article - thanks for posting. It’s nice to see some real numbers and facts. We can no longer as a nation financially support the number of illegal immigrants in this country or continue with this insane non-policy and non-inforcement. We are bankrupt.

But—But-—But, I thought they were all just hard working folks that just came here to do jobs Americans won’t do.
You mean they’re getting welfare, free educations, free medical care, food stamps, etc?? I’m shocked —shocked I tell you!!!!

Food assistance and Medicaid are the programs most commonly used by illegal immigrants, mainly on behalf of their American-born children who get automatic citizenship. On the other hand, legal immigrant households take advantage of every available welfare program, according to the study, which attributes it to low education level and resulting low income. The highest rate of welfare recipients come from the Dominican Republic (82 %), Mexico and Guatemala (75%) and Ecuador (70%), according to the report, which says welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents.

Looks like the problem is not so much whether the immigrants are legal or not but rather whether they are from third world or European/advanced Asian nations or not. Can't we just draw the logical conclusion that we don't need any more immigrants from Africa, the Middle East, or South of the Border? It seems obvious that immigrants from those regions are a net negative. I guess that's not politically correct, but we need to return to being factually correct while there's still time for America.

Next, some of the xenophobes on this thread will be claiming that illegal aliens don’t ‘pay’ their federal income taxes:

You are correct. The carpet mills here in Dalton, Georgia, offered medical insurance to their employees. The illegals would turn it down because, "it free" at the Health Department, "why I pay". It's like I told Rep. Charlie Norwood (rest his soul) at a meeting on the cost of medical care for illegals. If you add their children, who should not be here, the cost to Americans is astronomical. Also, add the anchor babies to list of illegals committing crimes. See how that cost jumps.
