Bachmann begins to overshadow Palin as more-likely White House contender
The Daily Caller ^ | April 5, 2011 | Shane D’Aprile

Posted on 04/05/2011 10:08:32 AM PDT by FreeManDC

The vacuum created by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R) absence from the 2012 campaign trail presents a major opportunity for the woman she once hinted might share a presidential ticket with her: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).

With strategists and conservative activists increasingly convinced that Palin won’t make a run for the White House next year, she is losing some clout among her contingent of grassroots devotees who are eager to hit the 2012 campaign trail and rally behind an alternative to President Obama.

Bachmann, who is mulling a 2012 run, is the most obvious choice to supplant Palin in next year’s presidential contest.

Palin might not run...

Now there’s an almost novel concept. Only a few people here have had the temerity to suggest such heresy.

We shall see.

This rag appears to have the voice of a cricket, and the goals of an ocelot.

What? You don’t know the goals of an ocelot?

Exactly!

Courage is the character trait I’d like to see in the frontrunners. I’d like to see evidence (not just words) of it. Believe we’ve seen it in Bachman and Palin. Don’t know much about Col. West, but believe finding a pattern of courage will not be hard to do. Courage to demonstrate and apply conservative philosophy without apology, deviation, and no consideration for whomever may be PO’d about it.

Laughable. Grow up and try again lamestream.

NOT working and there's only one candidate who can raise $1 Billion Dollars should she decide to run.

Bachmann,.....The woman who thinks Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution, and having a usurper in control of the world's most powerful military force, is the **least** important thing we have to worry about.

Bachmann is a FOOL who is listening Karl Rove whispering in her ear.

Sure,

A Congressman would NEVER, possibly, ever, make a “good” President. Just look at Abraham Lincoln for instance.........

I believe that she is running. Sarah’s going to do everything her way and her way isn’t always the same old way.

Bachmann has no experience other than congress for 6 years. Has not proven she can run a business or a government. Sort of like Obama except she's not a communist.

“I knew it was just a matter of time until someone tried to kill the messenger.”

It is perfectly reasonable for someone to level such accusations when you fail to comment on your threat post. Freepers don’t know whether you are in support of Bachmann or Palin. It would appear, judging by your post history, that you are in support of Bachmann, or you’re trying to create this false sense of division and waning support for Sarah Palin.

Read post 26.

With regard to having a natural born citizen in the White House, and upholding the Constitution ( ALL of it!) she has a spine the consistency of Dannon Yogurt.

She is a FOOL who is listening to what Karl Rove whispers in her ear.

Lincoln is the extreme exception. Obama is the rule , empty suits elected because they hold the right positions , 9 out of 10 times , govern poorly. Sure Bachmann is better than Obama because she is conservative but what does it matter if she fails to get the agenda done and can’t manage the executive branch because she swiftly finds out , like Obama , she’s over her head because of lack of the right kind of management experience.

In a related story, limousine liberal and Marxist wannabe, Tina Fey, was more than likely overheard asking a friend if she thought she looks like Michele Bachmann. Fey says she needs another gig really bad.

The big narrative against Obama will be that he is a disaster because he didn't have any experience and is over his head. He has failed to learn on the job. It's 3:00 am , time to fire him. You take that away with Bachmann.

She must be doing it that way because that strategy worked out so well for Thompson and Giuliani?

I believe Bachmann was one of the congresswomen who signed the bill which allows government regulation of private garden growers and their produce(?) Would you, by chance, have a link to the FR post?
