The vacuum created by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palins (R) absence from the 2012 campaign trail presents a major opportunity for the woman she once hinted might share a presidential ticket with her: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).
With strategists and conservative activists increasingly convinced that Palin wont make a run for the White House next year, she is losing some clout among her contingent of grassroots devotees who are eager to hit the 2012 campaign trail and rally behind an alternative to President Obama.
Bachmann, who is mulling a 2012 run, is the most obvious choice to supplant Palin in next years presidential contest.

Either would work for me. However I love these seers this far out.

Michelle is great, but there is an iceberg (90% hidden) of support for Sarah just waiting for her to give the "go" signal.

I hope that there are so many Republian candidates running that the media is confused and unable to attack them with the laserpoint precision they used on Sarah Palin for 2 solid years. Now it’s Bachmann’s turn for the Palin treatment. How many times can the media repeat the process and how many candidates do we need to have in the race for the president before the media starts looking ridiculous?

Sarah at Interior or Energy would be OK, too.

Bachmann / Palin 2012?

I knew it was just a matter of time until someone tried to kill the messenger.

This is different source same article as already posted. Just an attempt by Obama lovers to pit Sarah against Michele and split supporters. Aint happening with me. I suspect that Sarah's word carries a lot of weight, and I'm not convinced that she wants the job. She just wants a conservative American to take the job and restore our country. I'd be more than happy to see Sarah in the White House, or Michelle, or any real American who believes that the Constitution means what it says. As for RINOs, no thank you. I'll write in Palin/DeMint, Palin/Bachmann, or Bachmann/DeMint before I'll vote for Mitt or any other big government RINO.

I wouldn't start a war between Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman if I were you. It could get ugly.

The President needs to have CEO or experience as a Governor. The President must make solo decision. Bachmann is in Congress where everything is decision by committee. She has no experience in a governing position. I’d be OK with Palin as Pres. and Bachmann as VP.
