I doubt that Obama Sr would have risked his status in the US by platantly commiting the crime of bigamy and thus being jailed and or deported..

but he would not have gone through with an illegal ceremony
and he would not have wanted a paper trail of any supposed crime
His name on a birth certificate as the alleged husband and father would have put him in a bad situation
in 1961 good conduct was important for a foreign student hoping to stay in the US long enough to get all the college that he eventually received..
Whomever gave the info and whatever the info was I doubt he would have allowed his name anywhere near the document..
