Flower children of the 60’s loved those ‘ceremonies’ which wre held with crazy music & a variety of drugs which entertained everyone there.

“Ministers’ were not legally marrying anybody- just ‘Joining them in a spiritual bond” type of happening.

Remember Flip Wilson & his “Church of What’s Happening Now”??

No marriage license—not legal—but entertainment for all the flower children they could round up.

Yes I could imagine Stan Ann with flowers in her hair etc

but the time was several years before the Hippies..

What did the Beatniks wear ???

That was way before the Flower Power thing. In 1961, “Hippies” meant people like the Rat Pack.

But Stanley Ann was a freak of her own type. She might have gone for a Hawaiian tribal ceremony or some such. It would have been right up her commie beatnik alley.
