I wonder if ‘Ol Karl feels the same way about people who burn the Bible. I don’t think so since the US Military burns Bibles without a thought.

The Obamatoones are up in arms over one guy burning a book which he can do if he chooses to as a free man. Elsewhere Christians, Jews, Buddhists and Hindus are being slaughtered by Muslims and the Obamtoons look the other way.

I used to have a lot of respect for this guy because he was not afraid to speak the truth, with the bark on. Now he's just become another ass kissing politician.
Maybe the libs were right to call him Betray-us a couple of years ago. Stop kissing Obama's ass and DO YOUR F'N JOB!!!!
He does realize that these sub-human, neanderthal savages behead "infidels" without any reason at all? This Koran burning thing is just a front for them.

So when they burn Bibles or Torahs how many of them can we kill?
Pray for America

I agree with him. Having the "right" to burn the Koran (or the bible or the flag) doesn't mean that doing do is the proper thing to do.
I agree that the Islamic reaction is barbaric. But the way a trainer masters a brute beast is not by taunting it. It's by using his proper advantages.

Do any of you people on this thread understand that actions have consequences? And those consequences directly affect the warriors in Afghanistan who are putting their asses on the line for you? This jackass preacher has every right to burn the Koran, but his actions pose a grave danger to our troops.

Eikenberry said...Americans respect the Quran "and all religious texts" Except the parts of the Bible that condemn homosexual behavior
"and deplore any action that shows disrespect to any religious faith."
Except for telling a military chaplain to shut up about certain parts of the Bible and not to pray using the name of Jesus -- or else, face discharge.

Enough already. Can we just, for once, admit who we are at war with and stop worrying about making them angry?

Next time, it could be an anti-Islamic post here on FR that sends them over the edge.
So, should we ban any derogatory comments about Islam here on FR just to be safe?

Burning the Muslim holy book "was hateful, it was intolerant and it was extremely disrespectful and again, we condemn it in the strongest manner possible," said Gen. David Petraeus, who heads the U.S.-led international forces in Afghanistan.
With all due respect to Gen. Petraeus, he doesn't seem to be familiar with the Constitution he swore to defend. And tolerance doesn't in any way equate with subservience.
