President Obama says he's been doing "a lot of praying" in recent weeks while faced with tough choices on Libya and other crises at home and abroad.
"I am praying that I'm making the best possible decisions, and that I've got the strength to serve the American people well," he said in an interview Tuesday with ABC News' Diane Sawyer.
....Despite Obama's public professions on religion and spirituality, many Americans continue to doubt the president's faith.
Nearly one in five Americans incorrectly believes that Obama is a Muslim, according to a poll by the nonpartisan Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life released late last year.
The poll found the number surveyed who knew correctly that Obama is Christian actually declined, from 48 percent in March 2009 to 34 percent in August 2010. Forty-three percent of Americans now say they don't know what Obama's religion is at all.
The president has defended against the skepticism, and said that his faith has helped him endure the difficult questions....

There are several possibilities here:
1. He's not hearing the answer he wants
2. He's not praying to the right God
3. He's just saying this for effect
4. His prayer teleprompter is on the fritz
5. He needs to start with the sinner's prayer first
And so forth
He is purposely ambiguous so he can be what ever his admirers want him to be. The muslims believe he is one of theirs. Same goes for atheists, liberal “christians” and agnostics.
Frankly, I don’t think he has any strong beliefs other than a passion for big government socialism. He is no more a muslim than he is a Christian. But when necessary, he panders to either group and those gullible enough to fall for his antics.

If Obama has any religion (other than the Church of Obama The One), it is Nation of Islam, a black nationalist religion founded in Detroit in the 1930s and now run by Louis Farrakhan.

Yea, it had more influence on him dduring his formative youth years. Don’t know what he believes NOW, based on his comments which often contradict.
That explains all the gaps in obarqy’s daily schedule.
