I am not going to post any articles today about what is happening in the ME. Most of it you already know. I have done this for the past few days to establish a pattern...not really about the ME itself, but about how our own government is complicit in it...and how this administration has proven that it has indeed chosen sides and is ACTIVELY facillitating a shia takeover of sunni run governments in favor of iran.
As you know, the admin had been very silent on what assad is doing in Syria. I wondered at that because assad was an ally of saddam hussein and ALSO an ally of iran.
How would obama handle this one?
Well, it became clear two days ago. Iran has been negotiating with the opposition forces that have taken to the streets against assad. It was not until they struck a deal and decided to cut assad loose that the obama administration suddenly announced it was “considering” sanctions against assad’s government.
obama has helped destroy the governments in the region that were our allies, sunni governments every one...and every one had some dealings with Israel, even if their political rhetoric denounced Israel for the masses.
His policies in Iraq and Afghanistan have favored iran which has direct ties to AQ and the taliban. The shia are taking to the streets in Iraq and the killing of Christians and sunnis has ramped up fourfold, while this administration has continued its deafening silence.
The murders of Christians in Egypt and other places in Africa have not been deemed worthy of a single mention by this administration or any of its minions...including the hillary state department.
saudi arabia, which had been responsible early on, for the wahabist funding and production of AQ terrorism, has lost that spot to iran. iran sheltered and protected bin laden AND his family, and STILL protects zawahri who has been IN iran for at least the past ten years, only traveling across the border to Pakistan or Afghanistan when necessary, but always returning to iran where he lives comfortably and safely, enjoying an almost royal lifestyle.
This administration has allowed the certain endangerment of our Troops and our bases all over the ME, but most noteworthy, are our bases in Bahrain, home to the Fifth Fleet.
This administration and its minions plotted and helped plan ALL of these so-called uprisings which have ALL favored iran. Every one of them.
In short, we have al qaeda in the White House and NO ONE is doing anything about it. Our military is silent. Our congress is silent. Our courts are silent. Americans are almost completely in the dark about all of this because of the domestic crises we have been subjected to which takes all of our attention from the geopolitical chess game that is being played out that is more dangerous to our freedom than anything obama has done on the domestic front. His domestic policies have been a sideshow dsigned to mask his true intentions which are nothing short of an islamic takeover of the United States BEFORE we ever have a chance to react.
islam has gained a gigantic foothold in our shools, our colleges, our courts, our financial intitutions, and local politics. They are silencing us and cutting off our right of dissent using our own Constitution to do it. obama has used his bully pulpit to further the ideals of islam. He has proclaimed us a muslim country...and still no one dares challenge him.
He is succeeding. What do we do? How can we make people see this and understand it before it is too late? Oris it too late already?
I confess,I do not know.

Some other things to think about...and I don’t know about you guys, but it just grates on my last nerve.
Not one word from obama to the folks who have been devastated by the spate of deadly tornadoes across the country. Not a word of sympathy or condolence to the families who lost homes, whole towns, and loved ones in several states.
Not a word from obama about the horrible fires burning across Texas or a single word about the firefighters who lost their lives...but he was THERE, in Texas, raising money, and all he could do was pout and be a smartass with a reporter who asked him a legitimate question.
He compared our Passover to the friggin’ arab spring...AS IF!!!
He attended a black hate church for Easter Sunday, but did not issue a single word to the nation on the Christian Holy Day.
Our gasoline prices are through the roof, but he flies around and takes his 20something van motorcade to raise money for his own election, while his EPA shuts down even more drilling in Alaska.
He sends an envoy to iran to reach out a hand of friendship, but he can’t be bothered to speak against the wanton and barbaric murders of Christians around the world.
He speaks out about the right of an islamic victory mosque to be built on ground Zero on “Constitutional grounds,” but condemns the right of free speech by a pastor who burned the devil’s book.
He talks about taxing the wealthy, but what he is REALLY doing is declaring war on small businesses.
Meanwhile, he takes every available deduction on his own taxes that he says he wants to eliminate for everyone else.
I am sure there is much more hypocrisy than this. If you think of more, please post it.

Even less excusable in the Saudi view was Washington’s refusal to take seriously the testimony offered after Saudi troops entered Manama to defend the Bahraini throne that Iran was stepping up its preparations for military intervention after fomenting riots among the 2 million Shiites living in the eastern Saudi oil regions. The Saudi ruler had concluded that no matter what evidence was put before President Barack Obama, he would never be deflected from his policy of engagement with Tehran.

Obamas not interested,, he's too busy tearing down our nation and building up Brazil's oil to have any thought of the Saudi's.

Do not know either; the answer here. It is more than difficult, getting people to look at something - thoughtfully - more so; something so frightening as an evil specter on the move; that challenges one's senses; and our 'place in the world'.
Those who fight this battle daily, have my gratitude and admiration, for their being steadfast in the face of this enemy; and for being so courageous in their efforts to preserve the sanity of 'freedom'; and the authentic values that sustain a civilization.
Save for the 'likes of' Lt. Col. Allen West; Marco Rubio; Rep. Peter King and a few others; not nearly enough of our Repub Leadership going here; and until they do; think this will remain; a 'side' issue; or just a 'closet' issue; albeit, of a different kind. (Worry that these 'inside the beltway boys' see only the 'ECONOMY' as order of business and as campaign issue.)

Some people and groups are TRYING to fight this, but at every turn, they are condemned as being racists or bigots, extremists, or worse. If we raise our heads, they return verbal sniper fire. If we succeed and have even a small victory, they use the courts against us and they win because they say they are the victims of discrimination.
No judge bases his/her rulings on the fact that islam is its own political system incompatible with ours, but they never hesitate to USE ours when it is to their benefit.
I am simply at a loss for how to overcome this.

I came to TM to make a post other than this one, but I read your last 2 posts. As you, I am stunned by my capacity to be repeatedly shocked all over again.

International forces in Afghanistan say they have killed the number two Al Qaeda commander in the country.
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) says Saudi citizen Abdul Ghani was killed in an air strike in the north-eastern province of Kunar two weeks ago.
Ghani was accused of coordinating attacks against foreigners and pro-government tribal leaders.

I KNOW!!! This is becoming so insane I can barely contain my anger anymore. I keep thinking that surely, surely Someone with authority will stand up for us. SOMEONE, somewhere in this country that has a voice loud enough and strong enough to make a difference. It isn’t just politics or even thuggery anymore. People like Rush talk politics but don’t go to the heart of this administration and call him out on it. It’s islam. It is bare-naked and blatant and he isn’t even trying to hide his disdain for Americans anymore.
The only person I have heard with any voice at all speak about this is Glenn Beck and I really fear for him.
My overseas friend says civil war is all that will end this, and I said who will fire the first shot? Them or us?
And the truth is they are already firing shots, just not from guns. How do we fight this? It gets worse every single day. What will be the breaking point? We are losing our country.
I just saw a film clip on Glenn Beck of a very nasty rally in Germany...all men, islamic, I think. And one blond young woman walked right into the midst of them and started talking. She asked the German people out loud what is wrong with them that they allow this. “Why don’t you stand up?” she said.
And I saw on your homepage that you are from Germany, so I thought of you as soon as I saw that clip.
How long have you been here? I ask because I wondered if you might have some insight as to what is happening over there that we might not get from just the news. Is it as bad there as say, France, or has Germany managed to keep some control over the islamic population?

Do not know Trump's MO per Muslim issues per se; but we know he has called them out, for 9/11 NYC mosque efforts (unlike Bloomberg, of course; or even Gov. Christie, for that matter). Trump openly challenges Obama; and he 'punches back'. Our Repubs only cluck their tongues, in response.
Can we not get our 'Leadership', to at least, let their fingers do the walking; i.e. at least check out websites, where people who know; are sharing what they know. We know, they read Drudge - we saw pics; on Drudge/lol - by way of their computer screens and we know the 'hits'.
Think more than 'info' they are watching their backs; as Drudge is as well/lol. EVERYone, should be checking Drudge! OK; and Breitbart/Big (everything)/IBD. And in an 'ideal world'; reading Free Republic as well/lol.
(But for specifics re the gravest of threats; they should be reading 'Pamela Geller's analysis at Atlas Shrugs; as well; Robert Spencer's at Jihad Watch'. . .'anti-mullah'. They should be reading David Horowitz per Frontpage Magazine;and /links.
There are numerous sites of course; including the more thoughtful per American Thinker contributions, and et al 'others' of same genre; but I digress!)
Bottom line; if more of our Leadership, read even a few of these; they would be the wiser. Do wonder WHAT these people read; that allows them to be 'so abysmally indifferent if not completely asleep' to the army of Trojan Horses moving through our Country; whose occupants are violating America; plundering our Constitution; and determinedly, killing our future.
Glenn Beck - while I take great issue with his disagreement per importance of Obama BC issue - certainly goes to the painful truths of the matter per current events. Of course, sufficiently saturated by demagoguery; few in 'Leadership' - are tuned in. And of course there is Rush; again, telling the truth of the matter; but are our Representatives listening?
Again; either 'Leadership' get's this. ..or the people must lead. I don't see - per numbers, anyway - that we have either, right now; working in our favor.
That said; have not given up hope - entirely - or 'yet'.

I’ll have to watch that clip! My husband & I try to watch the re-runs of his show, but we’ve haven’t seen that one yet.
We live in a fairly small town in northern Germany, and the muslims here in our area are Kurdish. They pretty much stay to themselves. A bit further out from us there are many Turkish people, and I think they are more politically involved, or at least they have tried to be. Honestly I stay so involved (via the internet, esp. Freerepublic) in American politics that I don’t have too much time (or language efficiency) for what’s happening here in Germany. In our area we are not experiencing Islamic rallies or veil controversies as in France. I see women veiled, but I haven’t seen women in burquas in our area. (THANK GOD, that really turns my stomach. It was hard for me to see a little girl who was in my daughter’s class - she’s about 10 yrs. old, in her veil for the 1st time. Such a beautiful girl with long shiny hair, now all covered up...)
We’ve been here almost 3 years, and I’ve heard recently that the government here is beginning to be concerned about the growing muslim population - not that there are any plans that I’ve heard of them doing anything about it. Most Germans are very careful not to show any prejudice toward other groups (because of WWII), so you don’t hear a lot of talk in public about it. Political correctness here in huge. I’m glad to hear that the German woman spoke up at the rally.
I’ll try to keep a better eye out...and post if I find out any info.
Thank you. The clip was at the very end of Beck’s show. That was one brave young woman. She was surrounded, and I mean surrounded by all men. And she just didn’t back down at all.
