A hoice is a pointy, square pole you can use for impaling jihadists in front of city gates. There should be lots of hoices for hoisting these bastards.

PA Spokesman: Settlers Are not Normal People
Israel national News ^ | 04/24/11 | Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

Jewish settlers in Israel “are not normal people” and therefore there is no need to apologize for the murder of a Jew who prayed at Kever Yosef (Joseph’s Tomb) Sunday morning, according to Palestinian Authority security forces’ spokesman General Adnan Damiri.

3 government officials are killed in Iraq

Three Iraqi government officials were assassinated by gunmen using pistols equipped with silencers in separate neighborhoods in the capital Saturday, officials with the Interior Ministry said.

Yousif Abdullatif, a Defense Ministry employee, was shot dead in the al-Jadriya neighborhood in central Baghdad, officials said.

Director General of the Iraqi Taxes Committee Foad Fadhel was killed in the al-Jamia neighborhood in western Baghdad, they said.

Mohammed Qassim, an officer working at the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, was shot dead by gunmen in the Mansour neighborhood in western Baghdad, the officials said.

Separately, in the Saydiya neighborhood in southwestern Baghdad, a sticky bomb attached to a civilian vehicle exploded, wounding two people inside the car.

Government figures show the death toll in Iraq has been rising.

In March, 247 Iraqis were killed, up from 197 people in February. Another 370 people were wounded in March.

UPDATE on MEK:

Details of April 8 Massacre at Camp Ashraf by Iraqi Forces Revealed at News Conference at the United Nations by NEHRI
Sunday April 24, 2011

NEW YORK, April 24, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) held a news conference Thursday organized by the Near East Human Rights Initiative (NEHRI). Former senior U.S. government officials and International Humanitarian Law experts presented documents confirming the direct role of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in the April 8th massacre at Camp Ashraf, Iraq, home to 3,400 members of Iran's main opposition, Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK).

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey; former Senator, Robert Torricelli; former Senior Counsel to the United States Mission to the U.N. Dr. Allan Gerson; and Steven Schneebaum, Professorial Lecturer at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, spoke at the conference, chaired by Bruce McColm, NEHRI's founding member and former Executive Director of Freedom House.

The speakers emphasized that despite repeated advance warnings, the United States and the United Nations failed to prevent the Iraqi army's deadly assault in which 35 residents, including 8 women, were killed and more than 350 wounded.

Bruce McColm, displaying the copy of the Iraqi Army's operational orders of the April 8 attack said that "The operational orders of this attack" refers to the people in Camp Ashraf as the "enemy forces" and repeatedly, it mentions "attacking the enemy with the use of force."

"The residents of Ashraf need protection. They don't need resolutions. They don't need rallies. They need protection. NOW! Right away -- internationally if possible, sponsored through the United Nations, but immediately," emphasized Judge Muskasey, adding, "Iraqi troops should be directed to leave the vicinity of Camp Ashraf, and to leave immediately. This is not an issue that engages the question of Iraqi sovereignty."

"There is every reason to believe, and lots of evidence suggests this, that the Iranian regime had a major hand in organizing, orchestrating this 'deliberate, choreographed and murderous' attack," noted Mr. Schneebaum. "There is every indication that the people of Ashraf remain in even more danger than they were in before April 8th. They must be provided protection and the only entity with both the presence and the moral force to conduct that protection at present is the United Nations -- whether it's UNAMI, or whether it is the United Nations Detachment authorized for that purpose by the Security Council is the detail. United Nations has a mandate now to insist that the people of Ashraf be protected, and the events of last week need to be investigated... and if the result is that war crimes and other crimes have been committed, well the world community today has a way of dealing with those things."

Senator Torricelli said, "Three member nations of this organization have blood on their hands: the Iranians who ordered the attack, the Iraqis who conducted, and tragically because it is so unfair and it is so wrong, the government of the United States because it provided the weapons... There is certainly something we can all do about the policy of the United States: getting the MEK off the foreign terrorist list so it is no longer used as an excuse for murder is the first order of business."

"Our immediate task is to change things on the ground; to ensure that the injured get medical treatment; and that Iraq never repeats what it did. The time has arrived not only to immediately delist the MEK, but to ensure that the United States and the international community fulfill their responsibility towards the people of Ashraf, and not engage in the illusion -- which comes at a terrible price -- that that responsibility can be shifted to Iraq," Dr. Gerson underscored.

No, the Royal Wedding is too obvious. They’ll go for a softer and more unaware target. It might very well be the same day what with all eyes on London though. That said, they might have one or two small diversions in London earlier in the day just to keep the eyes of the world away from the real deal.

My first instinct was Russia. Russia just killed one of their top commanders, and they are hellbent on revenge. It appears that some of these groups purchased chemical weapons from the rebels in Libya. Very uneasy these days.

Iraqis rally against extending U.S. troops presence
Sunday April 24, 2011

Excerpt:
MOSUL, Iraq (Reuters) -Thousands of Iraqis rallied in the northern city of Mosul Sunday in one of the biggest protests yet against any extension of the U.S. military presence in Iraq.

Protests have swelled in the city since April 9 -- the eighth anniversary of the day U.S. forces toppled Saddam Hussein's statue in Baghdad -- but remain peaceful.

Sunday, around 5,000 people, including provincial council members and tribal leaders, rallied in the main square against extending the U.S. troops presence beyond the year-end deadline.

"We are trying to put pressure on the government to not even think about extending the presence of Americans (in Iraq), who brought havoc to our country," said Sheikh Barzan al-Badrani, chief of the Badrani tribe in Mosul.

"The second demand is for the release of detainees held in Iraqi prisons ... and the other is to make reforms in the Iraqi government. We do not accept corrupt officials and regret that we voted for them."

In a city seen as al Qaeda's last remaining urban base, protesters have mixed anti-U.S. slogans with calls against corruption and pressed for the release of Iraqi detainees.

Rallies against an extension of U.S. troops in Iraq have also been held in Baghdad in recent days by the followers of anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, who have vowed to escalate military resistance if U.S. troops stay beyond December 31.

The United States is due to withdraw remaining troops from Iraq by December 31, more than 8 years after the U.S.-led invasion.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has said his army and policy are able to provide security in a country where bombings and attacks still occur daily, and foreign troops will no longer be needed after the end of this year.

Iraqis, inspired by rallies elsewhere in the region, have staged protests since February against corruption and a lack of basic services, but most have so far not demanded a complete regime change of their democratically-elected government.

Tribes from other Iraqi cities including Ramadi and Falluja in the west, Najaf in the south and Kirkuk in the north, have all travelled to Mosul to express their support for an exit of U.S. troops by the end of the year.

THIS is just ducky. How many of our finest wasted their time, not to mention their lives, trying to bring freedom to these treacherous, ungrateful bastiches? iran will have iraq within 6 weeks of our farewell.

I just saw this over at Atlas Shrugs.Totally disgusting!!

The best hope for the world is to recognize who the Islamofascists really are. They are not religious people at all but cult-like brainwashed zombies.

Until we treat Islam like the cult that it is we are all in mortal danger as their Islamic centers(terror bases,IMHO) grow like poison ivy all over the US.

It’s not a cult. It is a mindless SWARM of wingless crickets devouring everything in its path...and when it run out of other things, it devours itself.

The salafi definition of terrorists in wiki, which I don't always trust, says there are now 1.9 billion muzzies in the world! I thought it was just a little over 1.2. I wonder who is correct. Either was we are in a world of trouble with that many running around.

Usual MSM claim that only a small portion, 1% are radical, but I stopped believing that long ago. As all those moderate muzzies seem to head turn any time one of us infidels bites the dust.I don't trust any of them. What is your take on Iran, civil war? Also it looks to me as if zero is purposely trying for a long war in Libya and ignoring Syria so both will heat up and stay hot as long as possible. It's all so convoluted its hard to place the players any more.

I thought Shariah banking was already in the states to accomodate M.Eastern businessmen. Seems i read about that some time ago. I suspect it’s not been vastly reported about but some banks already have that option. Likley the M.Easterners know which ones as well.

It’s going to take something major to start a true war there Mesta. Nobodys going to push the Nuclear button real fast even then. There’s a ways to go yet. But certainly with the uprising they’ll wait in part til some of the dust settles on these. The International Leadership wants to see who is going to actually come out on top and who they’ll have to contend with. This breach between Khameini and Ahmadinejad has happened before, they never let too much grass grow between them and will always come back together, especially with the uprisings all around.

Yes, they do, and there are shariah stock market options as well. But as a rule, WE don’t use it...and wouldn’t unless we had no choice. One of the things about shariah banking and stock market trading is that anything that even remotely has to do with Israel is excluded. The alternative banking system would completely shut Israel out and bleed her dry.
Ever wonder about the amazing number of banks here and in Europe that have failed? Ever wonder why the Saudis were so involved with bill clinton and BCCI? Why the saudis were such good friends with bush daddy? george soros?
Why carlisle and haliburton relocated their corporate offices to dubai? Among many, many other things.
I coined the phrase “economic terrorism” before anyone else even thought about it...by at least two years.

Not a war with planes. A war with surrogate terrorist groups. It’s already bubbling.
But someone has to come out on top. The saudis and iran have been fighting this war for years. Iraq was part of that battleground. So was egypt. Looks like iran has got that now too. WAR is not always nukes or planes dropping bombs.
We went in as surrogates for the saudis and are leaving as surrogates for iran. What changed? Presidents. With different loyalties.

Even so we are just one of the many players over there especially since we’ve lost any clout we once had. We may be “given” a place among but not at all the leader in anything that’s happening over there....they are basically on their own and they not only do they know it but they bask in the glory of it Mesta.

They’ve all been waiting for the time when the US was weak and they sure see that in this President..because he is. Look how all the countries cried out for the US to step in and help in these upraisings, and cursed us as well for not being fair by going into Libya. The world population just doesn’t get that this is not about them...they are simply the game pieces being used on the big board by leaders all around the world.

The nations are just waiting to see who is going to be who in the ME and entice what they can in bringing about an end favorable to themsleves....the people are just the cannonfodder being used. In the end they will not have the say they think they are going to get...regardless of which tribe or terrorist group comes out on top...or both. This thing has far more reaching tentacles then their own backyards....and for that the ME countries will unite as one trading block....just a matter of time.
