What happened to just a no fly zone? By the way so far this operation has cost $600 Million.

No, now he’s talking in circles. He’s now on “Iraq = bad” because of the cost and time, and “can’t afford to repeat this in Libya.” So we’ll just “support the dreams and aspirations of the Libyan people.” I guess Iraqis didn’t have aspirations and dreams.

No question Libya and the world would be better off w/o Ghadaffi ..... will pursue this with non-military means.
Regime change not in the cards with the military. Would splinter coalition, increased costs, would force troops on the ground.....to be blunt....we went down that road with Iraq....
Regime change there(Iraq) took 8 years....we can’t afford that with Libya.
We have intervened to prevent a massacre.

If he thinks we can avoid sending in troops to Libya (with our without Gadaffi)and avoid violence against the Libyans at the same time... he’s dreaming.

How does he know what the Libyan people want? Would they be fighting one another if there was a overwhelming consensus?

Why Libya, Obama??
It really DOES sound like he’s talking about Saddam. I could easily swap them out and it would make more sense.
