So when the rebels start massacring civilians who were pro-government supporters or start shelling civilian areas in these cities, will NATO bomb them?

In the last 48 hours, rebels have blown through 300 miles of Gadhafi-held territory.

And, they've employed Baghdad Bob for PR.

According to Obama, we’re supposed to be rooting for al-Qaeda’s success now...

One more Country handed over to Radical Muslim Terrorists! Fjirst, Obama Hussein tried to takeover Kenya with Muslim Rioters! Then, Hussein gave Eqypt to the Muslim Brotherhood, now Libya! Tomorrow,
it will be Jordan, then Syria, then Yemin, and then the Piece de Resistance and Crowning Touch, Saudi Arabia! Hussein is the Muslim Terrorist Radical who fraudulently has been given the Keys to Destroy His Hated America from inside the Golden Oval Office!

They’re calling them rebels so they don’t have to call them Al Queda or Muslim Brotherhood.

On the way to Tripoli, if the insurgents happen upon Al Megrahi and accidentally trip over the plug hooking up any machines he’s on, we’d appreciate it. He’s supposed to be dead now anyways so it shouldn’t be a big deal...

Commandos are on the ground organizing, training, and directing the rebels, as well as calling in Close Air Support. Multiple reports about this have been published.

This charge is being led by USSOC (boots on the ground), just like the overthrow of the Taliban in early 2002.

No way this rag-tag group made those advances without help.

No way.

Problem is: Who the hell ARE those guys? AQ?

The window of opportunity to bring the moslums out of their 7th century dungeon should be shattered now. I would support boots on the ground if we had a President that believed in establishing “freedom of Religion” in these moslum countries. Instead whatever regime survives will mandate in its new Constitution that ‘NO LAW SHALL CONTRADICT ISLAM” .And since we are faced with a President who is wimpy....... Heck go in and kill Kadafi, who was and continues to be terrorist.....instead odumbi has us playing some sort of wack a mole. ........................................... ........Libya is an Iraq waiting to happen - but until we get a MacArthur in the White House who knows how to wage war and spread the American values that have made our vanquished enemies like Japan and Germany so strong - its better that it doesn’t.

I can't believe the whining on this thread.

Whether we needed to intervene or not is certainly a valid question. But Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi indisputably has American blood on his hands, is a feckless dictator playing both sides of the game, and certainly has Al Qaeda contacts himself. He makes Mubarik look like Reagan. To h**l with him and any fool's stability he supposedly brings to the table. The idea that this intervention is motivated by some desire to install Al Qaeda in Libya is simply a rage-filled, paranoid fantasy of people who hate Obama so much they can't see straight.

I wouldn't have intervened here, but our armed forces are doing a very credible job against one of the world's true low lifes. Be proud of that and hope for the best.

to be honest I would rather that the muslim brother/Alqueda take over. Then at least our enemies will be out in the open. No more Arab royal families? Whatever.

ABC News getting sexually aroused by fantasies of swarthy masculine "rebels" having their way with them. Too bad it all went to shit this morning when the rebels were routed and fled in panic, not only Sirte but the next two towns to the East.
