Businessman and "Apprentice" television star Donald Trump blasted President George Bush today, calling him "probably the worst president in the history of the United States," and blaming his 2004 victory on the Democrat ticket.
Appearing on CNN's "Situation Room," Trump was asked by host Wolfe Blitzer his opinion of Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards.
"I don't know him," Trump answered. "People like him. I know people that like him very much, but I really don't know him."
Trump went on to say that Edward's experience as John Kerry's 2004 running mate was a negative in his estimation.
"Well, I think that's a huge negative, because that was a shame that that race was lost, because look what we have right now," Trump said. "It's a disaster. So, you know, I would probably be inclined not to like him on the basis that he lost an election that should have been won. That election should have been won."
Trump noted that the blame fell on Kerry as well.
"He's a friend of mine. But I'm so upset that he blew it," he said.
"I think Bush is probably the worst president in the history of the United States. And I just don't understand how they could have lost that election."
Asked about Hillary Clinton, Trump praised the former first lady, saying he thought she was ready to be commander-in-chief.

Trump is to the left of Mitt Romney on social issues and to the left of Mike Huckabee on economic issues. IOW, a RINO’s RINO.
Hmmmm.... his recent noises about Obama are starting to make sense. He’s a cats-paw for Hillary.
trump is one of those dumbest “smart-guys” I’ve ever known. I have to say that I appreciate his clearing the air and letting folks know that he isn’t even an approximate republican.
Oh, and LOL to your stalker...;-)

A likely explanation.
At least Bush never had the worse comb over in recorded history...
OOOOOOH, I’m laughning my a$$ off right now...
Trump GOP donations:
$7,500 to former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani (R)
$5,000 to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.)
$2,000 to former President George W. Bush (R)
Like Trump, I even donated to this guy when I was younger and more naive:
$4,000 to former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.)
does that make me unfit for the GOP also?
I still listen to Rush quite often, but I just can’t stomach the attention Trump has gotten.
When it comes to Trump, the trouble begins when he says:
“”Well, I think... “
(chuckle)
Too late, he already did. Geraldo had it on his show last night. Geraldo plays it right after his interview with Trump. ENJOY!

Well, this explains why Trump didn’t mind being around a scumbag like Blagojevich. Leftist scumbags clump together.
“It was fashionable to dump on Bush a few years ago.”
A few years ago, three quarters of Freepers were dumping on Bush also. Remember, we didn’t like him so much? Gee, we all sounded like Trump sounded back then.
It’s precisely because he’s a lefty that he’s pushing the birther issue. It makes conservatives look bad and Obama look reasonable by comparison. The issue is always brought up when Obama is in a tight spot, see abercrombie right after the election.
Trump’s the only one saying Hillary is fit to be president.
reason needs to slow down on the kool-aid
And so will Obama.
