That's evidenced in even the little things, the small acts of courtesy that constitute a civilized society.
As a case in point, the express checkout at a local grocery store has a 15 item limit to expedite customer flow. It's all too typical to see blacks and Mexicans load up with 50 or more items and abuse it. We white folks (sadly including me) just accept this misbehavior and tolerate it in seething silence. Our fear of confrontation inhibits us from even vocalizing our thoughts with a simple "excuse me?"
After all, to say anything in that circumstance would be construed as racist. Being pinned with the the scarlet letter of 'R' is now considered the worst of all disgraces.
“fear of confrontation” is more about an innate sense of civility.
The left has come to depend on this behavior on our part to accomplish their goals unopposed. But, as a I heard a former leftist say recently, they have no plan B for when we DO oppose them. So, do it!

Here in Maine, where there are 50 colored people, it’s just ignorant white people that do that. Ignorance knows no race...
