Yes, there are some politicians in DC that get it. However they do not include Boehner, Cantor, and Ryan. These guys don't give a rat's rear end. All they care about is wielding power and using a lot of smoke, mirrors, and Beltway Two-Step to confuse Republican voters that do care about the country. In the Senate, forget McConnell. He's part of the problem just like Boehner.

The American people, and Republican primary voters included, qare so uninformed that I suspect fewer than 10 percent have ever heard of the firm of McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, and McCarthy.

I was impressed by Cantor and Ryan at first - after all, compared to BO they sounded good. I am disillusioned now. The fiscal situation is so urgent, we need bold action like Rand Paul proposes.
