As painful and heartbreaking as it might be for those pre-disposed to have a bleeding heart or suffer with a loved one, relative, etc. with dire medical problems, the government, nor do the rest of the citizens in this country, do not owe you or them resolution of your problems!
Our founding documents of this country say no such thing. It can't be any plainer than that. If you want to change this, get 3/4 of the states to ratify an amendment, otherwise STFU.
This government owes you your life (i.e., not to take it wantonly), your liberty (i.e., it cannot enslave you), and your freedom to pursue your fancy (however it does not guarantee your success).

The rest of his quote, if anyone cares:
“DeMint blames Democrats in the Massachusetts State Legislature for adding many of the features to Romneys plan that many on the right decry.
It just depends on how he plays it. For me, I think he started with some good ideas that were essentially hijacked by the Democrat Legislature, DeMint said.”
Nonetheless, Romney didn’t veto what the Dems sent to him, and that’s where the buck stops.

But leading conservatives, including supporters of Romney during his 2008 presidential run, argue that the Massachusetts plan isnt a deal-breaker. His blatant hypocrisy is.

Romney is an unprincipled, spineless, limp wristed, equivocating, establishment, panty waist RINO.
Exactly the opposite of what this country needs!

For all you DeMint fans, put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.
The GOP is a lost cause.
It's time to abandon ship and start building another party.
Yes, I DO understand what that means for the 2012 elections. But you have to start somewhere...and with "Republicans" like this, who needs Democrats?

Jim DeMint should know quite well the path to lowering prices for healthcare, or just about anything for that matter is to get the government, especially the control-freak government of the entrenched Left the “H” out of the way.
Government has no business in business.
It’s sad the MSM, the Press is so tainted with the disease of Leftist politics anymore that they can’t be relied upon for the investigative journalism that was responsible to educate people with the truth.

One of the reasons I endorsed Romney [in 2008] is his attempts to make private health insurance available at affordable prices, said Sen. Jim DeMint (S.C.), a GOP kingmaker. Everyone's entitled to one mistake. And boy, was that DeMint's.

When you require a person to under penalty of law buy a product or service or face a tax/fine if they do not, for no other reason that because you simply EXIST....
Calling that an afront to liberty is not OVERBLOWN, it is exactly what it is.
The fact that ANYONE who believes in personal liberty even the slightest is putting any kind of support behind Romney is unfathonable. The fact he is being mentioned as a candidate for president is mind blowing.
IF Romney and Huckabee are the best the GOP can offer, we deserve the 4 more years of Fauxbama we will get.
