President Barack Obama is getting criticism for not being fully engaged with national and international issues and, instead, focusing on more recreational activities like golf, basketball brackets, and a trip to Rio de Janeiro.
New York real estate mogul Donald Trump told Fox News Channel's Neil Cavuto, "For him to be playing golf the day of and the day after... I think is very inappropriate... The image of him on a golf course while Japan is in the kind of trouble, this is catastrophic trouble, I think is totally inappropriate, and I say that as a person who owns some of the greatest golf courses in the world!"
Congressman Barney Frank, Massachusetts Democrat, believes criticism of Mr. Obama's sideline activities is petty and thinks it's "silly" for Republicans to go after the President on the issue, but he also points out that it's just as silly for Democrats to attack a Republican president over recreation time. However, Mr. Frank wishes Mr. Obama would be more active and "take a tougher position" on the budget.

"When I wake in the morning, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to give me the strength to do right by our country and its people," Obama said. "And when I go to bed at night, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to forgive me my sins, and look after my family and the American people, and make me an instrument of His will." LAST YEAR'S OFFICIAL DNC POSTER
THIS YEAR'S OFFICIAL DNC POSTER
"Voters, Obama is baptized in the fire of faith."
"Obama's been saved. Thank you, Jesus."
"Voters, let's hear an Alleluia and an Amen."

THIS SAYS A LOT Obama's recent Boston fundraiser started out as a $5,000 a plate then dropped to $500 a plate ... but he still could not fill the roomended up talking to a little over 100 people. Heh---nice to see Ohaha between a rock and a hard place. In a word----l-o-s-e-r.
===================================================
Wisconsin (with other states following) has got the Dems scared big time. A key provision of Walker's WI law is not only to eviscerate unions' bargaining power but ALSO the state's obligation to collect union dues out of employee's paychecks---(most of which goes to Dem campaigns). The libs are paranoid that Obama did not join them in WI as he promised he would during the campaign. He couldn't go----B/C he couldn't appear to side with violent union workers intent on keeping collective bargaining "rights" ...rights Ohaha's army of federal employees do not have.

LAUGH BREAK: Obama meeting with potential DNC donors

WASHINGTON President Barack Obama is meeting with about 50 donors and potential donors to the Democratic National Committee as he gears up to raise money for the approaching 2012 campaign. ((snip)) Obama raised a whopping $750 million for his 2008 presidential bid. His re-election campaign could raise in excess of $1 billion. (Excerpt) Read more at signonsandiego.com ...

So when will Obama be meeting with all those "anonymous foreign donors" who flooded his 2008 campaign with hundreds of thousands of relatively small, untraceable illegal donations?
Heh----Obama's gonna hafta think up a new scam to account for all those "zillions in campaign contributions" he's got stashed offshore (looted from the US Treasury during the infamous "bailout)."
=====================================
Reminds me of the excellent book---"Flawless"-----about the Antwerp diamond heist, looted of half a $billion. The crooks couldn't spend it, of course, without calling attention to themselves.
So they had to invent a highly visible money-maker to account for their spending.......they pretended a multi-million dollar movie deal about their heist was in the works.
ROTFL. Then again, Obama is not that clever.
It’s very hard to satirize this administration, although a few people give it a good effort.
That headline pretty much says it all about Obama. They’d never tolerate even the appearance of a disengaged Republican president yet their boy Obama just needs more time to get into the game?
0bama doesn’t need to be more engaged....he got people.
Bush went to Camp David X amount of days!
Remind them that Camp David is set up as a Presidential retreat, that is only a helicopter’s ride from the Capitol. The places Zero goes are not, and require a ridiculous amount a time and trouble, and MONEY,,, to prepare and sustain a Prefidential* vacation. Huge, HUGE difference!
*Prefident
Pref”i*dent\, a. [Cf. L. praefidens overconfident
Your assuming these people have logic?
hey, obammie is all over his ncaa brackets, what else can he do?
btw, I hear he picked all 4 number 1 seeds to make it to final 4. very sad if true, even in a trivial contest of no consequence he cannot make a decision.
hey, it’s hard being president when Rush and Palin have free rent in your head!
I think the problem we have with the American public is that they have an extremely short attention span.
The media still covers for Zero, but they’ve been questioning his leadership a bit as well. By the time June/July 2012 rolls around, there will be a big crisis where he will come out smelling like a rose.
Even though most voters right now would likely kick him out right now, this “event” could grab the headlines and help propel his poll numbers back up. I don’t know what the event will be, but there will be something. Count on it.
Sheesh, you can’t even call him PRESENT obama if he ain’t even there.
and if there isn’t a real crisis, one will suddenly be manufactured. Count on it. They need bigtime help for a bigtime failure of a Prez.
I wonder if Congressman Barney Frank likes Wiener(D-NY)?
************************
He’s never met a weiner he didn’t like.
Baloney. Premier Hussein has been practicing “strategic disengagement” for over 2 years, why would he change now??
I agree with the article title.
“...and by the way, France is only 50 miles away from Libya...Italy, Germany,” said Rep. Frank.”
Good thing Sarah Palin didn’t say that.
(By the way, Bawney - Marseille to Tripoli is over 800 miles - maybe you’d be better advised to go back to running a homosexual whore house out your basement)
Barney is just afraid someone will attack him over his "recreation time".
As long as it does not conflict with the planning of parties, vacations, golfing, promoting himself or rehearsing his massive list of lies.
1: Following March Madness.
2: Going to Authorize bombing in Libya from Rio.
3: Scheduling next golf outing on one of the PGA links.
Geez how much more do you want from him?
Do I really need the sarcasm tag?
O BARRY O, WHERE ARE YOU?
Tune: “Car 54, Where Are You?”

There’s an earthquake in Japan
Bahrain’s broken out in fights
There’s a dollar jump per gallon
Gas is up to record heights
There’s a Russian getting riled
Now Khadafi’s running wild . . .
O Barry O, where are you?
A man who has never been engaged on any subject but his self promotion is going to turn around in a few weeks/months.
Look at the senior Republican leadership in the House and Senate to judge the possibility of that happening.
IMHO, the best effort that Obama will set forth will reflect his acceptance speech followed by his most recent interview where he linked his filling out the basketball brackets with aid donations to Japan.
By the way, could I get some of the adult whatever the author of the newspaper article and the dimocrats have been consuming. It has to be some really good sh*t!
