This should give him a huge bump (I'm only half-kidding).
Not if(when) he starts promising subsidies or free gas for “the poor” or nationalizing energy companies.
His numbers should be worse... Obama has shown no leadership with Egypt, Libya, Wisconsin and now Japan.
He is not king, he would need congress to go along with any of that, and that’s not gonna happen at this point.
His presidency is basically over at this point. The 2012 election will start kicking into high gear soon, and no one is going to hand him any political victories before that, especially if they see his blood in the water.
Millions will still support him because he wants to take care of them and their energy costs and it is the awful GOP standing in the way.
He has easily taken more days off than any president in history, but the left will argue that Bush spent far more days in Crawford... But that was his HOME! Just like the White House is his home. Those were not vacations. A president is not required to LIVE at the White House, and in fact many have not lived there. So to count Bush spending time in Crawford is like saying Truman spent almost his entire presidency on vacation since he lived at Blair house.

My thoughts exactly. It's a complex formula playing into these numbers. Ø could declare marshall law and the seizing of all large companies, and his approval from his drones would skyrocket.
Obama needs to be impeached, tried for treason and jailed for the rest of his life in a Supermax for the harm he has INTENTIONALLY done to America.
Not his base which is deserting him but the Independents. His base is so jaded they would defend him if he was caught having sex with a dead body and A Goat at the same time.

The strongly approve was 21% just a few weeks ago (on 2/22 to be exact). Nonetheless, today’s 20% number is indeed a new all-time low!
