People got angry for saying it but thank God Japan was better prepared than anyone else in the world.

It is an admirable trait that has been lost to the general public in the US. Katrina is the perfect example. Sit on your a$$ and let someone else save you.

I love the M&M analogy.

I’ve been interested in science since I was a kid so I have a pretty fair understanding of how reactor work and what fallout is etc.

Worst case, the reactors can be entombed like Chernobyl (Which was many orders of magnitude worse)

The LSM conviniently omits those facts.

This nuclear event will be twisted and add more ammo to the left and envirowhackos.

I was working a job on Saturday and my costumer actually believed that globull warming was responsible for the quake and tsunami. I wanted to get paid so all I did was nod and swallow the blood from biting my tongue.

One mistake I see is people believing that radiation is blowing across the ocean as we speak. Fortunately radiation is like sunlight in that respect. Its unaffected by the wind.

Fallout is radioactive dust, smoke, and particulate matter which is blown by wind. The distance is limited by how high the particulate matter is thrown into the sky. In this case a few thousand feet seems to be about it. A nuclear bomb throws dust miles into the air.

Chernobyl was really bad for several reasons but none of those reasons exist in Japan.

The Japanese are going to mourn for a few more days and then they’ll dust themselves off and get to work.

This may be the straw that breaks the camels back. I’m no economist by any stretch but even I can see this one coming.

Yeah I immediately thought of what a financial mess this is. We’re going to take another hit on gas prices which will get worse as japan rebuilds.

I got an email from Canon saying that if I have any of their camera equipment on order it may be a while before I get it. They also said they have no serious injuries in any of their factories in Japan.

I don’t think any of the major media has touched this story aside from a few conservatives

The palastinians celebrated this with dancing in the streets and handing out candy to their children. Need ANYONE learn more about mooslims than this example of their “religion”.

I know this is a moot question; How can anyone celebrate the slaughter of an infant and two children, let alone their parents?

Misery loves company. They wish to share it with the rest of the world.

Agreed, turn it into a glass wasteland.
