If he gets canned it would be his own fault. His show is so depressing. He is all doom and gloom all the time and his crying or whining depending on the day is ridiculous for an adult male. Anyway I doubt that he will be fired until his contact is up and then they will make the decision and not the New York Times which is a liberal paper.

Hopefully, they’ll replace him with Judge Napolitano—whose two problems seem to me to be his support of another ConCon, and support for a VAT or flat tax, I don’t recall which—all taxation is robbery!

Doom and gloom, my arse....

I’ll guess that there are millions more Americans educated about the Cloward/Piven strategy, Georgie Soros and his political, meddling “organizations”, communists/marxists in our government and union corruption than ever before, thanks to the light Beck has shone on them.

Beck’s being attacked because he’s successful.

I’ll continue to watch, until he’s gone.
When/IF he goes, FoxNews will lose another viewer.

Beck’s doing a good job and he’s not leaving Fox News.

I am so glad to hear that he isn’t going anywhere.

The way appropriate blog posting is generally done is that Bloggers post full copy articles - not excerpts - in the bloggers forum. Posting in the wrong forum (News/Activism) or posting excerpts of your own blog and driving people away from the FR site is considered blog pimping and is severely frowned upon around here.

Jim Robinson, owner of Free Republic, on Bloggers:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2636843/posts?q=1&;page=501

“I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.

If a blogger can’t or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then I’d just as soon he doesn’t post here. It’s not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. That’s his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog.”

A word to the wise is generally sufficient. We don't want to drive good conservative thought off of FR. But we need to fight a recent surge of people using FR as a launching pad for click-through marketing attacks. This kind of abuse is unfair to our volunteer donors that keep FreeRepublic.com running.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

If his ratings were down, and Fox were thinking of dropping him perhaps he could get government funding from the same cash cow NPR it locked onto.

I am sure NPR and liberals will all agree since they are all so consistent and fair without regard to partisan differences.

He’s crazy if he leaves Fox, he’s got it made there and can do whatever he wants. If he thinks he’ll have it better somwhere else his Ego is out of control. I like Glenn, think he’s great and hope he stays at Fox.

I used to love Beck. I am starting to get over him. I am fed up with all the time he takes off from work. Every Friday show is prerecorded. I never watch those. He is always on vacation, sick?, or off doing book signings, stage shows, rallies, and revival meetings. DO YOUR DAY JOB.

He spends so much time on his other endeavors that he doesn't give the TV show the time it deserves. His bosses must see this. He always has another new project under way.

I can't stand the constant HYPE. I can't stand his constantly referring to how many years ago he talked about something way before everyone else. He thinks he is a modern day prophet. He denies this, yet his actions and statements show otherwise. He claims to be so spiritual yet he seems to know nothing about humility. “ How many years ago, Stu, was I saying this?” (PUKE).

He uncovers much information, has great theories, suggests great books to read, sounds alarms (doom & gloom doesn't bother me). Exposes the marxists in the administration. Shows us all the connections between labor and communists. More of that stuff Glenn.

No more 8/28 rallies. What a waste of an opportunity. NON-POLITICAL?, WHY? It should have been. Instead it turned into your own personal “I love Glenn” crusade. Billy Graham must have been proud.

Fox should read Glenn the riot act and put limits on the content of his shows. Make him work five days a week, or let him go. I can get all the Glenn Beck I can handle on the radio.

Glenn Beck fell off the wagon and that is why he was on “Vacation”. Doesn’t make him a bad, just life happening.

I heard from a liberal fan that Glenn was going to be dropped and had lost 1 million viewers.

They asked what I thought about it and I told them I don’t watch Beck due to time contraints and he is the gentler version of Savage.

I like his show and his radio program and he is so popular I can’t imagine him being dropped and don’t believe he has lost viewership.

OH, BTW.... When you blog post the entire article, with links.

You have been here long enough to know how the FR community feels about blogging.

You have a blog just about Beck? A Beck blog? Seriously?

In any event, please post this under Bloggers. It’s there for a reason.

Also, if you post in full, you will display that you want to impart information, not that you are pimping for hits.
