Sarah Palins unfavorable rating is off the charts.

The former Alaska governors numbers are astonishingly upside-down, according to a new Bloomberg poll showing a 32 percentage point spread between those who have an unfavorable rating of Palin and those who view her favorably.
Of the 60 percent in the poll who have an unfavorable opinion of Palin, more than half of them 38 percent among the whole survey said they have a very unfavorable view of Palin.
Her very unfavorable rating is higher than the total favorability ratings of Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump and Chris Christie.
The new poll is a dip from a December Bloomberg poll showing Palin with a net favorable rating of 33 percent and a net unfavorable rating of 57 percent.
The survey is just one more indicator that if Palin were to run, she'd face a very strong headwind whenever trying to reach out to voters beyond her hardcore supporters.
More people surveyed had an opinion of Palin than any other politician surveyed except for Barack Obama, indicating that her numbers are not likely to swing wildly one way or the other.
The poll of 1,001 adults was conducted March 4-7 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
Im with Bachmann anyway. She’s smarter, has a much better grasp on the issues and lets face it, is better looking to boot.

It is my experience that people who resort to personal attacks this quickly in a conversation are not usually the best judges of intelligence. Not that I think genius is an absolute prerequisite anyway, but most impartial observers would start the intelligence rankings of recent presidents like this: Nixon, Clinton, Carter... You can draw you're own conclusions there. You have problems controlling emotions. What I actually said was that Romney was smarter than Palin and Reagan and so was Obama. I have no opinion on who is smarter between Obama and Romney, and I don't think it matters. Both men are very, very smart.
Your emotion also got in the way of any sober conversation about "Mitten's supposed business acumen" (your phrase, not mine). What I actually said was "Romney gets points for his business background." Let me make this very simple, so that you can hopefully understand it: I won't be voting for Romney in any primary. That being said, there is no other potential candidate at this time with the resume of experience in the business world that he has. Certainly not Palin. And, no, volunteering to run the Olympics is not a "business" activity as far as I know.
All of this being said, the outcome you are hoping for is quite often different from what reality offers. As of this moment, Romeny has a MUCH better chance of winning the Republican nomination. Not because I like him better. I don't. He is in a better position right now because our primary system of delegates is broken. A lot of states that offer the most delegates are ones that the Republican candidate will DEFINITELY lose in the general election, but which Romney will definitely win over Palin. My home state of NY for example. If the primaries are down to Palin and Romney when they get to NY, I will be one of the few registered Republicans in this state voting for her, but she will lose all the same.
You are confusing mental stability with intelligence. Jimmy Carter is annoying, but he is a very, very bright man. The world is full of irrational genuises. Bil Gates, Warren Buffett and George Soros immeditately spring to mind.
There are plenty of highly respected conservatives saying the exact same things (though admittely they are more diplomatic, because they can't afford to completely alientate her supporters). These people include Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, etc.
Tell that to Dan Quayle, a bright and attractive candidate who was basically marooned on a desert island after Bush I lost the 92 election.
Group think at work. The entire lot of them have never once had an original thought......
I agree with you, but Michelle Bachmann has only been a congresswoman (not a Senator) for three years. Since she'd have a tough time winning state office in Minnesota, the best thing for her would be a cabinet position in the next GOP administration before she goes for the actual brass ring.
What you see as "emotion", in my post, is a straight forward statement of facts.
The way in which you wrote what I referred to and questioned, was not what you now claim it to have been.
I will grant you that President Nixon was intelligent; however, his emotions and the decades long lefty barrage of calumny heaped on him, undid his reason.
Carter isn't and never was "intelligent" and I'd truly love to know what you base this canard on. Even the MSM never called the peanut farmer "intelligent"!
Clinton? Wiley, smooth, a snake oil salesman who was able to turn on a dime and was also, unlike Obama, open enough to follow ( well, after a lot of tries ) the advice that Dickie Morris kept hitting him over the head with. And those who knew him in law school as well as in his days in Ark.politics, have all claimed that Hillary is far more intelligent/smarter than Bill.
By the time the GOP primaries reach N.Y. and California, there will be far more in them than Palin and Romney; not to mention the fact that in all probability ( based on the '08 GOP primaries ), Romney may have bowed out already.
Let me make this as simple as possible for you,so that you might finally be capable of comprehending it all...........
Without a stated criteria, proof, and facts, not to mention the ability to transfer your thoughts to the written word, all of your posts are just your wild imaginings.
Oh...................and in both this forum and in the outside/real world, Romney and his supporters have, for decades, used his supposed "saving" of the Olympics, held in Utah, is "proof" of his supposed "business acumen"; even though he took credit for what others had done before he even arrived on the scene.
If you reply to this post, please do some research prior to typing; elsewise, I shall have to, yet again, school you in the facts.
“the Republican PARTY is the party that will work to get government off their backs, out of their personal lives, and out of their pocketbooks”
The problem with this is that the Republican Party IS NOT going to do it! That much should be obvious to anybody by now.
I agree. A good plan would be to let Palin go ahead and keep the PDS-er’s all stirred up and then when they've used up a lot of their vitriol tag-team them with Michelle. We could drive the nuts.
Who, besides you, has EVER claimed that Carter was/is "intelligent"?
I was a fully aware, involved adult when Carter was running and then elected and back then, nobody was pushing the canard of his intelligence; not even PLAYBOY.
Upon what are you basing Carter's supposed brightness? It can't possibly be his debate abilities, which weren't apparent. It can't possibly be what he did as Governor or president. A reflection of those whom he surrounded himself, his quip about getting advice from his then prepubescent daughter, when he was president, the way in which he ran that peanut farm ?
Are you now claiming that Carter is a genius?
Genius status is usually conferred on people with certain IQs; not on the bases of what they can/do do. I personally know a few actual geniuses who have managed to do nothing with their supposed superior intelligence. I have also personally known true geniuses who have used their remarkable intellect to do remarkable things.
FYI........many people with less than genius IQs manage to do remarkable things/garner vast amounts of knowledge/make others assume that their IQs are higher than they are.
You are making a lot of patently ridiculous assumptions about people whom you know little to nothing about. That isn't particularly intelligent, nor helpful to proving the positions you have been taking.
And should Bachmann become the GOP candidate, the very ones who have spent the last 2+ years vilifying Palin, will turn out, full force, on Michelle and none of us have any idea what skeletons she has, nor if she can take it.
To turn haters into lovers, you need to show better performance and a better deal.
Just ask Domino’s Pizza. They’re running an entire ad campaign on that theme all around the country.
It’s time for her media people and her friends to start working on that. Problem is, if made public, the media-pack will destroy it before it gets to the gate.
How are you? What is your medical update? I have been praying hard my friend.

Doctor says all systems running normal, but proceed with caution. Thanks!
I'm with you on that. There are quite a few conservatives whom I support and several moderate republicans I would vote for, although in some cases reluctantly. Mitt simply doesn't make either list. I don't assume Sarah Palin is perfect in all respects. I do, however, give her full credit for being pro-life, for being pro- Second Amendment, pro-military, and pro-America (does anyone alive doubt her in any of those areas?). I also give her credit for having opposed corruption in all forms and for having been an effective governor until the far left decided it was in their interest to trash her for purely political reasons. It'll be hard to top that and convince me that it's more than clever marketing and packaging - I have as open a mind in that respect as I did with Palin when I first started observing her style in 2007, but it took a lot with Palin too.
I was listening to Neal Boortz yesterday and he was talking about how unelectable she was. Best he could come up with was the sound of her voice.

This is the same sample that has a favorable view of Barack Obama. I.e., they are all liberals and wouldn't vote for Palin in any circumstance.
So, what's the surprise?
