They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.
Prayers for you Jim!

My mother had similar problems. She had horrible varicosities. She had open sores on the inside of her legs just above the ankle for 7 years. Finally she had all her surface veins stripped. When I had my first child 40 years ago, my legs began to hurt so bad that I could not stay on my feet after 8 pm. Then I read Adelle Davis’ books, “Let’s Eat Right to Keep Fit” and “Let’s Get Well”. I began to eat better, and take Vitamins E and C among other supplements. In 3 weeks I could be on my feet until midnight with no pain. I have continued with supplements and good diet, and at 72 am in good health with no ailments.
If we all learned how to take good care of ourselves, there would be no need for Obamacare, or it wouldn’t cost so much, and big Pharma would hate us all.
My former sister-in-law's father had a similar problem. The circulation in his leg was so poor that medicines/antibiotics could not get to the non-healing area. That looks like a pretty good way to take care of the problem, what with the poor circulation and all.He decided to inject or apply medicines directly into the bad area. He did the treatment himself. I'm not sure, but he may have opened up some of the area so he could apply medicine directly to the tissue.
I gather it was painful, but it healed the problem area and avoided or greatly delayed amputation.
It's a similar problem to what Jim has.
I'll bet if he knew of this approach he would have tried it!
Oh, I hate to hear this....prayers up for Jim.
Prayers up for Jim.
Thank you for the ping.
Prayers up for Jim.
Didn’t know he was on a carrier. My grandfather was on the Hancock in WWII.
God Bless You Jim, and your works that have taken root.
Prayers UP!!!!!
Prayers up for our dear leader.
Amen to that!
I just hope those surgeons are all Republicans.
That's more or less what Ronald Reagan said when they transferred him from the gurney to the table in the OR after he was shot by John Hinckley.
It’s called a fasciotomy. I can’t believe you are giving medical advice here. Leave that to his doctors who have actually examined the leg. Please say a prayer or wish him well instead.
Best wishes to you Jimbo, family and friends.
