I never asked him what put him in his chair. I met him twice in DC. Once for the Clinton Impeachment and then at the Bush Inaugural Ball.
Can anyone tell me how he lost his leg (and now possibly his other leg)?
Jim & your family will be in my prayers.
God be with you.
St. Jude, please pray for them.
May Jim find God’s love and grace during this difficult time. May God give Jim peace and tranquility. May God give Jim wisdom to understand that our lives are small while our souls are great. Amen.
Prayers up!
Prayers for you Jim. Thank you for your service to our country.
Be well, and prayers up.
Prayers for both of you, for the best possible outcome.
Prayers up from me and the Babe for a patriot and e-FRiend.
Prayers and all my best wishes for a speedy recovery. We owe Jim so much.
Prayers lifted up for you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. Praying for strength, healing, grace and peace through it all for you and your family.
Leni and family
Thanks for the ping. I’d have missed the thread completely otherwise. Now I am praying. Dear God, bless, hold, guard and heal JR, please; amen.
Thank you for sharing this news. I’m not accepting any thought of surgery. I’m standing for Jim on God’s Word “By My Stripes, you were healed” where you means Jim.
Father God you know all about what Jim is going through - you knew it 2000 years ago and Jesus took Jim’s ailments on Himself so Jim would not have to pay that price of losing a leg. We receive that healing now for Jim and thank YOU for it in Jesus’ Name. And all Praise, HONOR and GLORY goes to You, Father God. Amen.
Prayers for Jim and family and the surgeons.
Prayers for your well being
praying for you Jim, may peace, comfort and healing be with you.
Jim has MD and is confined to a wheelchair. In 2008, due to very poor circulation and diabetes, Jim's left leg became infected. After a few months, the infection had spread up his leg and it could not be saved. Jim has adjusted very well.
Now the right leg is swollen and the circulation is poor. He cannot wear a shoe and keeps a towel under his foot to absorb the leakage.
I do not know all of the medical terms but I'm praying that the doctors come up with something so they can save his right leg.
Thank you for your prayers.
Darn! Am really sorry to see this. I spent the day today at the VA too and had really great care. I’m sure Jim will as well.
Jim and his family continue in my prayers and those of my congregation.
May God bless, guide and direct the surgeons as they make their decisions and may He strengthen, comfort and heal Jim in the days to come.
Amy, please do keep us posted. Thank you and bless you too!
