Jim has MD and is confined to a wheelchair. In 2008, due to very poor circulation and diabetes, Jim's left leg became infected. After a few months, the infection had spread up his leg and it could not be saved. Jim has adjusted very well.
Now the right leg is swollen and the circulation is poor. He cannot wear a shoe and keeps a towel under his foot to absorb the leakage.
I do not know all of the medical terms but I'm praying that the doctors come up with something so they can save his right leg.
Thank you for your prayers.
Sometimes things just don’t get thought of.
I know it’s not mainstream medicine but here goes.
Medical Leaches?
They can bring down the swelling and they are able to thin the blood. It is a simple prospect for Jim’s doctors to consider.
I’m sure there is a much more informed person or two in the forum that would know a possible answer to my suggestion.
Thank you for your generous reply. This is extremely serious.
We’re doubling up on the prayers. Jim will be in my thoughts throughout the day. I, and apparently many others, will be anxious for updates.
Many have had challenges that can only be confronted by reaching down into ourselves to that place where God resides in us to find the strength of spirit and character that only He can provide. I pray that Jim and all comcerned find that inner strength and that it is a comfort.
BTW, my husband has the same hat Jim is wearing in the photograph. He, too, wears it with pride. We bought it at the Reagan Library.
Prayers Up!
