Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Hey everybody,
I just went by the VA hospital to see Jim. He is in very good spirits. He says that the staff have been very good and that he has a team of doctors looking after him. True to form the doctor team (at least 5 of them) came by when I was there to give him an update. He will be giving everyone another update later today. He appreciates all the prayers.

Whew! When I saw that squad of doctors coming into my room, all with grim looks on their faces, I was afraid they were going to hold me down and start sawing. LOL Keep that sense of humor. It's helped through many troubling days in the past.
