Grayslake (northern suburb of Chicago in Lake County IL - just off of I-94 straight south of Milwaukee) is within a 2 hr. drive from the People's Republik of Madison.

Sounds like the end is near. It used to be we will stay until we win, now it is we were making a point.

Whatever happened to the deadline? The ultimatum? Exactly! Twice now we've heard about deadlines and ultimatums. Where's the follow-through??

They are feeling the heat of the recall elections. They also know that Walker has a powerful to declare the seats absent after 30 days. I am not sure how courts would rule but the rats probably do not want to risk Walker’s actions.

Im taking a (financial) hit, Hansen saidCall me heartless, but I don't care if he is. I'd take a financial hit too, if I refused to do my job.
Perhaps we could find a small "martyr" hat for him to wear.

Senator Dave Hansen of Green Bay, who noted his district includes Lambeau Field, said he and the others have been paying their own tabs for lodging and other necessities since fleeing Wisconsin and bouncing around Illinois. I'm taking a (financial) hit, Hansen said. Then get on back to work, fool.

There was a lot of early talk about voting on non-budget bills that require a smaller quorum. Last I read was a vote on stopping racial profiling. What about the other votes??

At least 3 of them have citizen-started recalls from their own districts facing them already. It’d be GREAT if Gov. (Luke Sky-)Walker could vacate their seats!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
Risser, whose district is in Madison, said the Wisconsin politicians will return at some point. One of our main goals was to bring attention to what is happening, Risser said.
Ok Risser, now that you've accomplished your juvenile hissy fit, spoiled tantrum goal to "bring attention to what is happening", please gather up your dolls & toys, and return to vote on the legislation like you are supposed to...aye or nay!

Whatever happened to the deadline? The ultimatum? It never had any teeth. The Governor never gave it any teeth.

They are feeling the heat of the recall elections. They also know that Walker has a powerful to declare the seats absent after 30 days. I am not sure how courts would rule but the rats probably do not want to risk Walkers actions. At this point, Walker should be looking (quietly!) for ways to keep the Fleebags away past that deadline. The main problem is to keep it from looking like his fault.
