And how would you propose the Governor do this?
The police don't follow orders and are siding with the protesters. The courts are against Walker. The media is massively against him.
You've got Democratic Senators now talking about staying out of Wisconsin for the entire term if they don't get their way. There is literally nothing Walker can do. Perhaps break up the repair bill and push through the non financial parts is about the only option I see.
Couldn’t the GOP pass EVERY bill they could think of that is not MONEY related....i.e...immigration, abortion, healthcare, education, etc??? And, a bill that says if a Senator/Rep leaves the State and doesn’t return to his job for more than 3 days, when able, they lose their position!??
The Federal Government needs to step in. If this is allowed to continue in Wisconsin, the entire country is at great risk and all bets are off.
The courts have no jurisdiction over the Capitol building, its hours or how it is run. Tell the judge to F off.
Tell the Capitol Police to clear the building under a direct order. If they refuse, fire them, and get the National Guard to do the job.
Declare the Dem Senators seats vacant, and set an election date to fill them. If they return, bar them from the building. They have abrogated the terms of their elective office and oaths of office.
Listen, the stakes are too high. This circus has gone on long enough. “We won”—f the Dems. They and their hired goons are trying to paralyze rhe State of Wisconsin. That is anarchy.
To say they can do all this without consequences is to invite instability, disorder and chaos.
If Governor Walker won’t or can’t the job done, then he does need to step aside.
But to wring your hands in the face of anarchy is not an option. If the Dems win this one, it is open season on the whole country.
Someone posted that Walker can declare the Rat Senate seats vacant after 30 days.
>You’ve got Democratic Senators now talking about staying out of Wisconsin for the entire term if they don’t get their way.
Their entire term, as stated in Wisconsin law is 30 days after leaving their seats vacant.
At that point the governor can declare the seats officially vacant and call for a special election
Why do you think they are breaking ranks at all?
You've got Democratic Senators now talking about staying out of Wisconsin for the entire term if they don't get their way. There is literally nothing Walker can do. Perhaps break up the repair bill and push through the non financial parts is about the only option I see.
At least one person --- you --- has seen how easily "nullification" works. The radicals have turned the tables; force the governor to resort to excessive force.
But why do I feel that if positions were reversed, the Soros crowd and supporting cast would find a way to make the problem go away? With total impunity, of course.
Damn. I am getting even more cynical.
I would then order the National Guard in to restore order to the capitol building, arming them.
If a judge tried to step in and annul my orders, I would declare martial law within the capitol area, and ignore the judges orders.
One thing Walker can do right now is start telling the truth about how the democrats are subverting democracy in Wisconsin by not following the constitution of that state, which calls for the people to elect representatives who then vote to enact laws. It’s majority rule—that’s democracy and the liberals are not following it and are subverting the democratic process in WI.
