I emphatically and completely disagree. The vast vast majority of folks in the middle of Madison are not "thugs", period.

If no republican/rino/conservative/teapartyer will show their face....what does it tell the nation, the state of WI, and the locals?

Scott Walker is speaking for us just fine. I do not need to show up at the capitol at this time and confront the people their. My elected officials are actually doing what I voted them into office to do. In a democratic republic we vote for other people to represent us...and my representative is doing just that. Only in a pure democracy (which we do not have) would I need to show up and become part of the “mob” scene.

Are you so helpless that you can't speak for yourself?
Police departments are empowered by their employers to enforce the law; the people don't abandon the right of self defense. They can reclaim the job when the hired help fails to perform.
