I’ve tried really hard to take Glen Beck serious and I just can’t do it. He is so overly dramatic as to be foolish at times, and the chalkboard lectures have always grated on me.
I know he means well, and I’m sure he’s a very nice guy, but he sure isn’t a source that I rely on....
That was very well put and I couldn’t agree more. Like Sean Hannity, he is one of the good guys but I can’t listen to either one of them because their deliveries are fatalistic, shrill, and repetitive.
In addition, the libertarian view of politics stops at our shores so he knows very little about foreign policy.
I used to watch his TV program. I found out about the 9/12/09 March on Washington from him. That’s what got me to go. Then he suddenly decided he wasn’t going to be there. He must have gotten word of the thousands that were coming and was afraid there might be violence or something. It was the most wonderful crowd of people I have ever been honored to be a part of. He should have been there. Then he changed his message to some sort of religious/spiritual calling and held another march this past September. Now I just occasionally tune in when there is nothing interesting on talk radio.
If it wasn’t for Beck we would not have the House.
He has woke up the nation.
He is right on.
