I am pretty confident that Glenn Beck will continue to educate the public in the methodology of how a nation rises to greatness and what happens to hasten it's fall. There are many of us who over decades have watched the communists use every means and opportunity to weaken this Republic from without and within. Legislators, Republican and democrat alike, knew that communists,under whatever guise, were dedicated to the violent overthrow of this government and nation and worked hard to contain this enemy. Unfortunately, this opposition to the various faces of communism has eroded because of a variety of reasons, not the least being the propensity of our prosperity to weaken resolve and opposition to uncomfortable political situations. Beck, because of current technology, is able to spread the knowledge of this world wide network of subversion to millions who would otherwise remain uninformed as to the nature of the forces working to destroy our freedom. As always, I remind myself that regardless of age or education, everybody is not on the same learning curve simultaneously. There will come a time when those who scoff at Beck will have an aha moment and perhaps give serious consideration to the content of his message. For myself, nothing Beck says comes as a surprise and much I have already known about. His updates are fascinating particularly because they build on the past and I see events coming to pass that were projected years ago by patriots who took a stand against the evil of Godless communism. A term used by Bishop Fulton J. Sheen on his many references to communism. Glenn Beck is another Paul Revere and, human nature being what it is, there is nothing new in those who would rather stay indoors and carp about the noisy fight going on outside. Others will join the battle and do what they can to help.

You know how Glenn Beck is always saying that we have to keep watching what Obama and the Democrats are doing with their left hand, while they distract us with the right?

Well, there is something that has come up in the state of WA that is going to negatively impact my county and the whole coast of western WA.

SSA and and BNSF (rail road) have teamed up to build a coal terminal in our rural county, that would necessitate bringing the coal all the way up the coast through every town along the way in huge open cars ending with a bulk terminal in Whatcom County.

The trains pass right by beautiful coastal homes, through coastal business areas, residential and rural farm areas. They will cut off coastal businesses from their customers and spew tons of coal dust over the north part of the county. They intend to uses much larger cars and some double stacked cars. The noise and dirt will be unbearable and the waits at the train crossing will kill business.

To make matter worse, the project is backed by Goldman Sachs and has 100s of millions of dollars in stimulus money backing behind it. Maria Cantwell has also gotten permission for SSA to build a terminal in China with our tax dollars to receive the cargo, creating jobs in China.

None of this has to happen. Another company is trying to build a coal terminal in Southern WA where there is already a dock that used to ship lumber to Asia. The trains would not have to traverse WA and the ships would not have to enter the sound. So, why the push to ruin the WA coast?

Money, follow the money.

Glenn Beck is one of the Sons of Liberty, our time's Paul Revere.

I watch or listen to him when I can, but what he is uncovering scares the hell out of me. I am grateful he's willing to say it over and over again and maybe more will wake up. A Katrina's coming and he's trying to get the buses running.

After a point though, he is hard to watch. Almost every program is like finding out all your worst fears are coming true and that you have underestimated.

Hate to admit it, but sometimes I refuse to watch him because of that. I am an addicted FReeper, which is quite a lot of info, but then to watch Glenn scares the "bleeps" out of me.

So I take it in increments. If I'm home from work, I watch. If not, I don't go searching. FR is my morning and evening "news".

Don't put words into my mouth. I don't give a rat's patootie which messenger you or the American public listens to and I have no influence on that.

Look, I have to extrapolate what your full thoughts are based on what you state.  I realize you bolded the "I" in this commentary, but it appeared to me you were making much more of a statement than you were intending to.  Here are the comments I'm referring to:

I feel very uncomfortable right now, but I reserve the right to my opinion that someone who has Beck's disabilities is not the messenger that I want to listen to.  Until someone else comes along, I personally will continue to find the message in my own way. What I find mind-boggling is that quite often on these Beck threads you will see posts of the same mind-set as the Obama worshippers. Now THAT makes me damned uncomfortable and it's why I rarely visit the threads.  LINK

Do you believe I am being unreasonable when I observe that you are taking the time to tell me what your policy is, then compare folks here to Obama followers if they disagree, and I then come to a conclusion based on this?

You don't believe Beck should be the messenger.  That much is obvious.  I don't think I'm out of line by stating that you don't think he should be on the air.  No, you didn't come out and say it, but you won't even watch the show.  That tells me something.  And if I come here to state that he can be a force for good, you think I'm as blind as an Obama follower.  I realize you didn't say this, but you didn't single me out an exemption either did you.

I'm stating that holding Beck up as the "MESSNGER" is not for me. Why do you project that to implying that I would censor Beck if the rest of the country wants to hear him?

Well, could it be that you likened people who think Beck has something positive to offer, and defend him on that point, to having the same mind-set as the Obama worshippers?  Did you want me to think you didn't mind if Beck remained on the air?  I'm sure you don't want Obama to remain president.  Along those lines, I honestly don't think you want Beck to remain on the air either.  And yes, I realize you didn't say you wanted Obama out of the White House during this discussion either.

Do you think God may have had a hand in that? I believe God is fully capable of using bad people, to do His bidding.

Well, I WILL remind you that Glenn Beck believes that God chose Joseph Smith to do His bidding. So did Mitt Romney. So did Jon Huntsman. I for one, don't.

Okay, then if a family member of yours is laying out on the highway and Beck comes along and stops to help, they should ask him what his religious beliefs are, before they let him help.  And if he answers honestly, they should tell him to go away without helping.  Okay then...

If God chose Glenn to do His bidding in this case, I pray HE will keep Glenn from "becoming unspooled"....I'm just not sure HE DID choose Glenn.

If Beck is doing good works, that is from God.  The Evil One doesn't cause people to do good works.

Nobody else out there is telling it as clearly on point as Beck is when it comes to connecting the dots in detail.  That is not doing the Devil's bidding.  It is revealing people who in fact are doing the Devil's bidding.

This is an academic discussion for me.  I hope you understand that.

If you call that "Unspooling", then what do you call what's happening in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Jordan, Greece, Italy, London, China, Yemen, Mexico, USA and other countries joining the list weekly?

America, our heavy, is about to fly into a "super-cell" and ATC (aka GB) is trying to warn us in a slightly raised voice.

The guests he had on, were more frightening in their predictions of our immediate future. What's $5, $6, $7, $10 gasoline going to do to our already fragile economy?

At the end of the show, I think Glenn did kinda go off the deep end with this statement:

America, things will be increasingly tough in coming days. But it will be OK, if we can just be our higher selves and stick together.
